i think walt is the one who spraypainted "heisenberg" in the house. i have no supporting story or theory, i just think that's what's going to happen.

Luke

That occurred to me too a few weeks ago. I even went back and watched an early episode in which Walt wrote stuff down to see if the handwriting matched. It didn't, but that may be the difference between writing notes and writing with spray paint on a wall (more capital letters, etc)

The pink Teddy Bear that symbolizes death made another appearance in last week's episode.

According to the writers, the last 3 episodes are non-stop "**** hitting the fan", from start to finish.

I think that Walt's only grasp on sanity is his family, so Jesse will find a way to out him. This will somehow lead to Walt Jr. dying, and that will put Walt back into crazy mode as he goes after everyone who knows what he did, as he wouldn't have anything left to lose and would want to somehow hang on to the money for Holly. I fully expect for everyone to die except Walt, who succumbs to his cancer in the end, and Holly, who is pretty much the only innocent left in the whole series.

What if it ends with Walt going into remission, with his family dead and his money gone? In essence, everything he did was for absolutely nothing.

I've long thought this would be the general tone of the ending.

Something along the lines of every one and every thing is gone/dead except Walt and maybe the baby.

I'm still stuck on jesse being heisenberg. Just watched the first episodes and he was really big on wanting his name "Captain cook" to be big.

I could imagine some ending where Walt coughs blood into a napkin and the screen fades to black.

It's easy to believe Don Draper expects a dark ending.

Better yet, his family is dead and his cancer worsens to the point of incurable. Final scene shows him quietly and sadly paying cash for his medical bills (with a dramatic pause as he reflects on where it came from and what it ultimately cost him) and then he shuffles out of the hospital completely alone.

We'll be analyzing, disucssing, and predicting ad nauseum very soon. Very soon indeed, my friends.

The title of Breaking Bad's final episode is "Felina"

Fe-Li-Na

Iron-Lithium-Sodium

Blood-Meth-Tears

Also an anagram for "finale"

Anybody think the therapist statement about everybody has double lives to an extent means anything?

Maybe marie ends up killing walt?
Tuco Salamanca
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Marie said "I could never kill anyone"

After hearing that I definetely think it's a possibility
splits
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I agree. It seemed like Marie was telling herself she can't kill someone...

I think she tries unsuccessfully to kill Walt.

Count me in the camp that thinks Walt lives and everyone else dies, and that the show ends with Walt coughing blood into a napkin.

The potential curve is the target isn't Jessie.

Hank?

What if the curve is that the target is himself; he uses the Nazi to fake his own death; after the conversation with Skylar in the Hotel, something like "I know it'd only be a matter of time before someone showed up to kill us all" perhaps that's what Walt was contemplating at the pool when Jr walked up...how to get into a make shift, criminal type witness protection...he knows he can't go to Hank and the DEA after the tape he made, so he uses Todd's family to fake his death...not sure how the flash forward with the machine gun works into my theory, but that would explain the scaried to death, I think I'm seeing a ghost look his neighbor gave him.

quote:
I could certainly see a scene with Gomez and Walt in it together with Walt trying to convince Gomez he is a victim. I see Gomez trying to bring everything to the DEA and Hank having to stop him for some reason.

I could see this, and even take it a step further and have either Hank inadvertently kill gomez, or vice versa.

Pignorant, you missed this one:

quote:
Out in the West Texas town of El Paso
I fell in love with a Mexican girl.
Night-time would find me in Rosa's cantina;
Music would play and Felina would whirl.

Blacker than night were the eyes of Felina,
Wicked and evil while casting a spell.
My love was deep for this Mexican maiden;
I was in love but in vain, I could tell.

One night a wild young cowboy came in,
Wild as the West Texas wind.
Dashing and daring,
A drink he was sharing
With wicked Felina,
The girl that I loved.

So in anger I

Challenged his right for the love of this maiden.
Down went his hand for the gun that he wore.
My challenge was answered in less than a heart-beat;
The handsome young stranger lay dead on the floor.

Just for a moment I stood there in silence,
Shocked by the FOUL EVIL deed I had done.
Many thoughts raced through my mind as I stood there;
I had but one chance and that was to run.

Out through the back door of Rosa's I ran,
Out where the horses were tied.
I caught a good one.
It looked like it could run.
Up on its back
And away I did ride,

Just as fast as I

Could from the West Texas town of El Paso
Out to the bad-lands of New Mexico.

Back in El Paso my life would be worthless.
Everything's gone in life; nothing is left.
It's been so long since I've seen the young maiden
My love is stronger than my fear of death.

I saddled up and away I did go,
Riding alone in the dark.
Maybe tomorrow
A bullet may find me.
Tonight nothing's worse than this
Pain in my heart.

And at last here I

Am on the hill overlooking El Paso;
I can see Rosa's cantina below.
My love is strong and it pushes me onward.
Down off the hill to Felina I go.

Off to my right I see five mounted cowboys;
Off to my left ride a dozen or more.
Shouting and shooting I can't let them catch me.
I have to make it to Rosa's back door.

Something is dreadfully wrong for I feel
A deep burning pain in my side.
Though I am trying
To stay in the saddle,
I'm getting weary,
Unable to ride.

But my love for

Felina is strong and I rise where I've fallen,
Though I am weary I can't stop to rest.
I see the white puff of smoke from the rifle.
I feel the bullet go deep in my chest.

From out of nowhere Felina has found me,
Kissing my cheek as she kneels by my side.
Cradled by two loving arms that I'll die for,
One little kiss and Felina, good-bye.

Not a bad theory at all.

He could even have them spray paint the Heisenberg on the wall to make sure everybody believes it was a hit by a rival drug lord. But it would make more sense if he thought the lives of him & his family were actually in danger...such as if the cartel or Gus' Chilean connections came after him.

If he was going to fake his death, wouldn't it be more likely he'd go to Saul for a referral for that?

For those of you interested in trying to figure out what lies ahead, I have some advice: (see below for "spoiler" info)

I don't think this is spoiler info, but I'm a self admitted relative newbie to BB (thanks Netflix) and don't wish to trigger the wrath of BB old school folks.

The titles of remaining episodes are available, and they're thought provoking. However, what's also available online is the cast of each remaining episode. The cast list isn't complete judging form the last few shows, but it's still interesting to see who makes appearances.
