Ok, what the **** is Walt doing? This is ridiculous. Why on Earth does he want his family to think he killed Hank? What is he trying to prove? What the **** does he want to do with his family gone?

God damn, that was tough to watch. Just heartbreaking.

I'm hoping Walt somehow has one last thing up his sleeve, because... sigh.

Edit: Yeah, I don't know how I didn't get it right away. Please ignore.

No, Walt is trying to not implicate Skylar and save what's left of his family.

I think in the next episode we see Walt get a new identity and they flash forward to a year later.

Walt's redemption, didn't see any of this coming, it was crazy! Best show I've ever seen.

This.

They actually showed the clips from next week right after the show ended too.

Dude, Walt DID just save his family

He painted a perfect picture on the phone, knowing the cops were listening, of Walt being in total control and Skyler just an innocent victim. Walt took the whole fall for everything. C'mon man, keep up.

I've never wanted the main character of a show to die so bad. This hardly redeems him.

Forgive me for coming late to this realization, but Popeye Doyle's hat is Heisenberg's.

Is the final step for him to come back and save Jesse in exchange for Jesse confirming that Skylar didn't know anything about it?

Of course, at this point he doesn't know Jesse is still alive.

The ricin is for Walt. That's my bet.

So much in this episode I never saw coming...

Any story that takes 5 years to tell had better have an amazing ending. This one does not seem like it will disappoint.

Saul said in the previews for next weeks show that they would go after skylar.....I'm guessing this will bring Walt back to town

Walt already knows his fate. Whether because of the business or the cancer, he's dead. After Hank's death, he was about to lose his **** altogether. But after he heard his daughter (hence the opening sequence) cry out for her mother, he realized what his actions (and the show) really mean.

That's when he did what he could to salvage what's left of his family even if all signs are pointing to him not being part of it anymore.

All that's left is Jesse's story/ending.

Ok, I don't know how I didn't see it right away. Obviously Walt was making Skyler out to be a victim on the phone, to protect her. Ok, that makes me feel a tiny bit better. And actually makes sense.

Using the ricin on yourself is dumbest form of suicide he can think of. A bullet to the head is much more effective.

Ricin is not for Walt, he wouldn't off himself that way. Too messy

The ricin would be an effective way to off yourself if you wanted to turn yourself in and die in custody. Didn't they say ricin would look like the flu or something to an observer?

And if someone is dying of cancer, who's going to ask questions?

I want to know what Walt does with the money to provide for his family once he's gone.

Don't ya get the feeling the closing scene is going to be a tearjerker for the ages?

Walt is taking the fall.

Walt also doesn't give a **** about Jesse. In his eye Jesse got hank killed because he is a coward and rat. So I doubt he is coming back to save Jesse.

My guess is this, Jesse cooks for a while then does something to kill himself. Well now the Nazis have fulfilled their side of the bargain and need Walt's one cook, but Walt is MIA. How do you get Walt out of hiding, go for the family.

Todd and his group are coming after skylar because they have blood on their hands.. Saul trys to talk Walt into going back to save Skylar.

Next week should be interesting..

Wow. What an episode.

Jesse in the lab was the pink teddy bear. Busted face, one eye (kinda)....

edit...Doc Jock points out that she caught that...not me.
