Also, this was the climax. The next two are the "dénouement".

My hunch is Jesse does something to blow up the lab, killing himself and Todd. He knows that's the only way to protect his ex-gf and her son. Jack goes after Walt's family as a way to draw him out of hiding and cook for them. This sets up the showdown between Walt, Jack, and the Czech connection lady.

You think Jesses doesnt blow it up but instead does the gas thing as a throw back to the first episode where they killed those gangsters?

Just finished watching on DVR delay.

Yup. You could see him crying toward the end of the phone call. Knew there had to be a reason he was being so mean.

Anyone think the nazi's kill Marie next week? Todd said they had guys on the way to get Jesse's confession tape. Maybe she's in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Jesse was unconscious when Walt concocted the phosphorous gas(?) so it would be a stretch to think Jesse could recreate this.

thats true i forgot he was out. You would think that Walt has told Jesse what not to mix because of the consequences though, I dont know just thought about it when people said he was going to blow up the lab

Walt has said numerous times "Don't do that, you could blow us up!"

Based on the opening scenes tonight, Jesse could do it with lightning a simple cigarette

I don't think there is a single character I want to survive all this other than Saul and Walt Jr....and maybe Todd. I really like Todd.

I don't see the nazis "going after" anyone at this point. They just got their hands on $70 million -- making any aggressive moves at this point would seem silly.

Jesse told them that Marie knows for sure. They are going after her. Do they know who Walts family is this? They know that Hank was his Brother in law so it wouldn't be hard to find them

I could see that.

Jesse finishes a cook, ask for a light as a reward. BOOM.

We already know that Jack doesn't wear a mask while he's around the lab...maybe that's Jesse's opening.

Marie knows what for sure?

She doesn't know anything about the nazis.

Seems like if they were so keen on covering their tracks to this extent that they wouldn't have let Walt walk out of there alive.

They know that Hank and Gomez were the ones that had him at hanks house. Marie was there as well and they will be trying to tie up loose ends. Remember they have jesse on video confessing at hanks. When Todd comes down to get Jesse he yells that he has told them everything. Where the tapes were etc.

Not sure if there's any reason for them to go after Marie anymore. At this point, the entire law enforcement community knows that Walt is Heisenberg. She can't tell them anything they don't already know now.

Cranston's performance tonight moved me to tears.

Also, despite being senile, Matt Saracen's grandma with an oddly wise piece of wisdom in this clip.

I am not sure I like the nazis being the resolution of the series. I would have preferred one of the drug cartels. Oh we'll, just my opinion.

It is possible that Marie is killed when they go after Walt's family. IF they go after Walt's family.

The drug cartel got wiped out in Mexico by Gus.

Jock, I think he knows that, he is probably just saying that using a bunch of white supremacists as the resolution is kind of lame.

Such a great episode. Top 3 of the entire series. At least 4 crazy WTF moments - Hanks end, knife fight, Jesse in meth lab slavery, the call.

Great acting during the phone call. When Walt says "I did this, me alone" to see Skylar's face realize Walt is protecting her and family.

How far can that ricin go? Could he use it for all the Nazis like Gus did with the cartel?

Rian Johnson directed Brick, Looper, "Fly", "Fifty-One", and this episode.

He's pretty good.

I know Gus took care of the cartel (that we knew about), I just feel the nazis have been so insignificant up to this point.

Yeah, I guess if in the videos Jesse names the nazis then it would make some sense, but even if that were the case, how would the nazis know other people hadn't seen the videos? Just doesn't seem like the risk of your lives, $70 million, and control of the meth operation is worth coming out from cover and trying to off a dead DEA agent's wife in order to tie up a loose end that likely consists of identifying them as "some nazis".

Or put an alternate way, seems like Walt would be the big glaring loose end that would have been worth tying up there in the desert if they were that concerned about it. Walt is a MAJOR loose end... Marie not so much.
bilbobag
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I think the Nazi's are more about how Walt didn't control outliers as well as Gus and how careless Walt has become.
