Looking back now what was the point that Walter hit rock bottom as far as breaking bad and began the redemption process. Has to be the "We're a Family!" moment in Ozymandias before he runs out with Holly.

It was perfect.
Great series. 2nd only to LOST IMO. BB had the better series finale also IMO.
Only thing that could have made it better was for one last "yeah, b*tch" from Jesse as he drove off.

Something didn't seem right. Still good, and was an amazing drama, one of the greatest, but I dunno.
And since I wasn't around last week as I stayed off the thread and away from online BB talk....last week's episode was stronger than Ozymandias IMO.

There was a ton of hype for this episode, & I came away underwhelmed. Mostly because the things we knew would happened, did.
The finale did what it was supposed to do. & the high light was Walt finally admitting to himself, it was all done to satisfy his ego.

Huge lost fan but BB is better in my opinion
Lost in this discussion so far is the brilliant flashback to Jesse building the box that he talked about in therapy a few seasons back. I look back on a a few of Paul's therapy scenes and consider them the best acting of the series. "You know why I'm here?! It's to sell you meth! You're nothing but customers!!"
Marie and Skylar also seemed to both be wearing White today. Walt back to pretty much his days as the chem teacher with the green.
I give the edge to BB also over Lost. Both were great
Giving the finale a knock because it was somewhat predictable is kinda silly considering Gilligan gave you the clues on a silver platter with the flash forwards of the M60 and ricin.
If he had left those out completely and Walt strolled into town with an M60 and ricin people would have *****ed about how unrealistic and Hollywood it was.

Big, big fan of Lost, but BB blows it away, simply because of the efficiency of the show. By that I mean, everything on BB had a point, a reason for being. Every sentence spoken, every little action. Definitely not so with Lost. BB is like every really good show you've watched before and thought, "man, if only they would have trimmed some of the fat" - well, BB is that show where there is no excess, no cliches.
