I think it's the opposite.

The suicidal executive certainly knew what was going on, and he was accepting all of the credit for the financial success of the restaurant division. But, he was only involved with the restaurants--the front operations. Like Skyler's role in the carwash, I wouldn't think that would take much direct involvement in the meth manufacture and trade.

Lydia, on the other hand, seems to be involved in the chemicals/equipment division. Being a supplier for the manufacture of meh would probably involve more direct contact. Hell, she knew the names of all Mike's guys and one dude (Chris) willing to whack them all. Her disguise and behavior at the diner was just because of the heat coming down.

I think she's more of an administrative person who served in a purchasing type of role. She helped coordinate the acquisition of materials, probably knew the major players involved in the overall operation (like Mike for instance), and knew what their roles were. But she comes across as more of a white-collar, administrative kind of criminal who sits up in the office and manages from afar; not a blue-collar criminal who actually gets her hands dirty on the front lines.

I agree with that. After all, we've never seen her before. So she obviously wasn't involved in day-to-day operations. But she was instrumental in logistics. And she did have direct contact with Mike and knew who his guys were.

My point was that the suicidal head of Madrigal's restaurant division way over in Germany was even more remotely connected than she is, not the other way around.

I think at some point...probably in next season...Skyler is going to try to kill Walt. Probably by trying to hire an outsider...out of legitimate fear and concern for her life and the lives of their children. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case.

My brother-in-law got to work with Gus yesterday. He works for a teleprompter company that does a lot of behind the scenes and promo kind of stuff. He was doing something for NBC yesterday and Gus was there because he is in the new fall series "Revolution". I asked how he was in person. He said, "Really nice and normal, but I still got the sense that he would boxcutter me in a second."

I think in the end Hank will have to pick between saving Jessie from Hank, and Saving one or more members of his family from Mike.

Walt Goes and Kills hank because he knows the DEA will find out about him if they take down Jessie.

Mike kills someone in the family and Hank is then buying the gun in the season opener to track down Mike.

Season ends and Next season its Walt against Mike.

That's very confusing to read, especially when you have mistakenly written "Hank" twice when you meant to say "Walt".

I do think that Walt will have to choose between Jesse and family member (probably Hank) at some point.

Going to be a hard show to end. Hope it is good as The Shield's ending was.

I think Hank will have to decide between saving Hank or Hank. I believe Hank will be forced to take action to save himself and Hank from Hank because Hank will tell Hank all about Hank.

I think Walt is going to arrest Hank and Marie is going to leave Walt. And then Skyler is going to the pen for shoplifting.

I also think that Mike is going to OD.

Anyway, I DO think the ricin that Walt taped to the outlet is gonna come into play eventually. The question is, does he end up using it on someone, and if so, who? Or does it become the smoking gun somehow?
