I'm excited to see where the writers take this, they could redeem Walt or make him the most hated main character and thus have to kill him.

Personally, I think they will redeem him. Based solely on the opening scene of the first episode of this season, Walt gets sick again and realizes why he did this in the first place. Along the way he made some bone headed move against Mike, Mike asks him to leave town and if he ever sees him again Mike will kill Walt's family. Jessie is somewhat in the middle of all this, the final episode of the series is a showdown between Mike and Walt.

Not following you there. From the cold opening, Walt has a full head of hair and beard. From that what makes you think he gets sick again?

He could be sick and not doing Chemotherapy (Just giving up on life). Hence the full head of hair. He was certainly taking some kind of medication though.

Not a chance they redeem him.

Maybe a dozen or so. I remember being shocked when I found out about the first few. Now it seems just as normal as coke.

Anti-Meth advertising?? This isn't like anti-marijuana ads where there isn't much fact behind it, meth health problems are backed up by actual clinical facts. Well educated or not, It does indeed screw up your teeth, skin, lungs, and other organs eventually.

That's a tricky one. Most the meth heads also do coke when they don't have meth, but I know quite a few others that partake in coke but not meth. So yeah, I guess I could say I know a dozen or more coke heads as well.

I spend a lot of time in the bars and meet a lot of different types of degenerates. Makes me feel better about myself.

This season being BB's final season is news to me. Kind of sad. Although it does make sense, with the way the first 3 episodes have gone. Better to go out on top than having to wrap it up because of bad ratings.

yes. First half is this summer, and second half will be I think early next summer.

Yes, two shorter season...but combined they will be longer than a normal season would have been.

Coke is more expensive than meth...the idea that when they arent doing the cheap stuff they are doing the expensive stuff doesnt make sense.

That actually depends on the quality. But generally the meth heads buy meth. When they don't have any and someone else offers them coke they'll take it. They don't buy it.

I'd bet the barn we get a mike vs. hank fight at some point. Hank takes down mike (we know he's onto mike) and then without mike holding heisenberg steady, Walt unravels.

I know a LOT of meth heads (50+) due to my job. Most don't usually do coke when they are out of meth. They look for something to steal to sell/trade for more meth.
