How long do you want to ignore this user?
Was there anything special about the picture Hank was staring at and the ominous music playing during the videoconference? I kept rewinding it but couldn't pick anything out.

I think Hank was realizing that Mike always knew when he was being tailed. He looked like a model citizen, with coffee, etc, in all the photos. This may lead to him wondering about a mole in his office, or him being bugged himself...

I thought i was more that Mike was too smart to slip up, and that they had better find an easier nut to crack.

I thought it might have something to do with the waitress in the picture.

there's a big difference between the character and the actor. Cranston plays it so fantastically, and the fact that there are still people actually rooting for him is a testament to his acting.

I was more referring to the way Cranston was playing Walt. After Mike was shot and drives off, the look on Walt's face was total dismay and shock at what was happening.

in a funny way, his reaction reminded me of Charlie in this scene from Always Sunny

I think it was to show that he was still too focused on Mike, staring at the photos, looking for something he missed when he should have been paying attention to the actual meeting, ie. listening and looking at other things around his focus.

Regarding the warrant, I think we are to expect that some time passed. I mean, the lawyer had just dropped off the $15,000 payments and was already back. I can't imagine that's going on more than once a week at most.

What movie was mike watching while the DEA was searching his place?

Mike's [granddaughter] was the only thing that mattered to him. When it came down to it, getting taken in by the police and not abandoning his [granddaughter] at the park, Mike chose to make a run for it. In a way, Mike "broke bad" this episode as well...

I dunno. If Mike goes to prison, his granddaughter is abandoned just the same as if he makes a run for it. I think he was just wishing he could say goodbye. I guess he traded that opportunity for the chance at escaping.

It's an interesting parallel to Lydia's big concern when Mike was about to kill her. Lydia really didn't want her daughter to think she'd been abandoned. So she wanted her body found. But it's not quite the same because Lydia thought she was dead either way.

I thought there may have been something in the pics Hank was looking at during the video conference as well. IT seemed he was just looking at them but then he sort of reacted in a way that made me think he saw something important right before his boss got his attention and he put them away.

When it happened, I thought "Wow, maybe he saw a pic of Mike that had Walt in it..." Obviously, I doubt that was the case because it didn't come up again, but it did seem like he saw something he hadn't noticed before.

Or maybe I was just trying to read too much into him looking at the pictures. I haven't watched it again, so I may have been imagining his reaction.

He was focusing on Mike and ignoring his new job. Just like his boss called him out on.

I agree to a point, but can you imagine simply "walking away" from your granddaughter at the playground and the realization of what kind of man that truly makes you? I think that's why that scene was so great.

Why did mike tell walt he ruined everything? In a sense he did ruin the gus/team walt relationship but come on. Gus was planning on "replacing" walt. What choice did Walt have?

No reason what so ever for them to drag this out till next summer.

It is going to end one of two ways:

1. Walt earns redemption but dies in the process.

2. Walt dies from his ego.

There are no other ways.

I am looking forward to Hanks face when he finally does realize that it is Walter. Going to be priceless. Also curious to where they are going to take Jesse. Perhaps starting his own shop?

I think if Walt had just kept his mouth shut and cooked permanently for Gus, instead of demanding it only be short term (which makes it ironic since he is in the Meth Game now for the long haul), Gus would have protected him and kept him well paid.

Maybe a stupid question, but during the scene when Gomie told Hank about the lawyer flipping while Walt was in his office, they showed a camara angle from the ceiling, looking down at all three. I immediately thought that Hank's office had a hidden camara in it. Could that be true and Walt's on tape removing the bug, or was it just a camara angle used in directing?

I think Mike was going back further than Walt killing Gus. If Walt had just kept his nose down and cooked meth, then Gus never would've looked to replace Walt. It was Walt dictating how Gus would deal with rogue Jesse and running over those two street thugs that made Gus want to eliminate Walt in the first place.

If he doesn't get involved in those aspects of Gus's business, things would probably still be running pretty smoothly.

Exactly. If Walt "stays in his place" none of this happens.

Interesting. It just goes to show how good the Breaking Bad series is in portraying the different reactions of the characters, even if the reaction contradicts that character's personality. In a way, Lydia, as nerve-wrecking as she is, was willing to accept her fate in her house when Mike was about to kill her. On the other hand, Mike, the cool, calm character, chose to run away at the park.

I think Mike saw more of a chance to still help his granddaughter out. If he allowed himself to be arrested, she sees him arrested, then at the most might get to visit him in prison if her parents would even allow it and she gets no financial help.

If he gets away, she may be confused and upset about him leaving her, but he can still figure out a way to make more money and leave it for her.

It's possible, but I doubt it. The writers have inserted subtle things like camera angles and facial expressions to throw us viewers off since the beginning.

When Walt & Jesse met on top of the parking garage in the final scene of last season, there was a camera angle from a distance as if someone was watching them. Remember the "Jesse aimed to the right before shooting Gale" theory or the "Mike was about to shoot Jesse" uproar after Gus poisoned the cartel? None of these things turned out to be anything at all.

These things are in there just to keep us talking and throwing up theories on the message boards.

Another great one. DAMN YOU WALT!!!! I loved Mike. Loved the look on his face though. For the first time in a LONG time Walt looked scared and "What have I done?" look on his face. Also a great line realizing he could just get the names from Lydia.

So why was the lawyer dropping money off? Since he got his payout why didn't Mike pay off his men all at once? He asked if any of them was giving grief about the paymet system. Did Mike not have it all? Or was he just keeping them along to make sure they didn't squeel after getting a big bulk payment?

When the Phoenix drug dude didn't believe Walt had killed Gus, Walt turned his head ever so slightly toward Mike's direction. Mike shakes his head no, and then it pans to the Phoenix drug dude that looks like my cousin Freddy. Was that just a minor Holy 5hit moment on the part of the drug dudes, or was that some other exchange.

Could Jesse get pissed off at Walt enough that he sells the Hisenberg recipe to the Phoenix guys to get his $5MM?

You answered the question.

Another reason Mike didn't give the names because Walt is going to kill them all using Todd's connections.

Funniest scene was when Mike called Saul and Saul had to sort through 10+ cell phones in his desk drawer.
