This. Someone earlier complained that this seemed over the top, we get it he doesn't want the money, etc. But this show is great at taking some small aside from one episode and turning it into a major plot point in the future.

I've always wondered why they didn't just run the money through the car wash instead of having it laundered. I mean, the car wash is right there and those chemicals should do a good enough job washing it.

That was two different thoughts:

1. The money has not been laundered likely meaning sequential serial numbers, making it more traceable by the authorities.

2. In addition to Jesse's fingerprints, there is potential for prints from Walt and/or Skylar handling the money

For all you new BB fans who've never had to wait a week between episodes...isn't this thread fun? So much speculation. So many theories to ponder. So many directions this show could go. So much confusion on exactly what was said and what actually happened. So much discussion about countless little details that are almost impossible to be seen by any one person in one viewing. And so much time to think it all over.

Those are similar, but not the same jacket. Jesse's has a button on the top left (from our perspective) corner of the right pocket and the flaps don't quite look the same.

If this were a plot point, I think that wouldn't be overlooked.

Unless that picture is about something besides the jacket that is...

Meant more to point out how Walt takes on a characteristic of people he's killed. Probably a big stretch though.

What do you think Saul is going to be doing during all of this? Surely not sitting around just waiting for the crap to hit the fan. I am not so sure Saul won't take everyone out and ride off with the money.

Amazing.

Only thing I have to offer that I haven't seen here, or on Sepinwall, was the perfect timing of Marie telling Walt that "he is such a devil" right when Hank opened up the sliding door to outside again after exiting the crapper. She was in mid-sentence, but the first thing you audibly hear after the door slides open was that phrase. Not unintentional.
