Not everything leads to something else ... at least not significant. I think they added it simply because it was funny and to send the fanboys into a tizzy about what it means. No matter how the story ends, some yahoo will come up with a theory on how it ties back.

Sorry, meant to say "have you been posting long".

There was a discussion several pages long about whether or not Mike aimed his gun at Jesse in Mexico in season 4.

Really, only 29 pages on the best season of Braking Bad, and we already have 82 pages on one episode over half of 5? I'm kind of disappointed in 2011 Entertainment board.

Quad, there were probably half as many people watching season 4, if not less. Seems the viewers have grown exponentially each season.

Aaron Paul did an AMA on reddit, apparently.

http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1kaxje/i_am_aaron_paul_ama/

For those that don't know, AMA is "Ask Me Anything" and it's basically a Q&A session.

He's auctioning up this for charity... http://www.omaze.com/experiences/aaron-paul-breaking-bad-finale

One thing I haven't seen posted:

The tracker on Walt's car

Re-watched the episode again, the garage scene.....He waves it around as he is asking Hank about it, his hands go down as Hank stares and him and then punches him in the face....He falls back into the boxes.

You never see if he's slipped the tracker back into his pocket, or if it flys out as he falls backwards.

Technically, he could pick it up on the way out of the garage (we haven't seen him actually leave the garage yet).

Point being, the tracker could very well have record of him going both to Jesse's house, as well as Saul's.

I don't think its a shock to Hank that he is and has been heavily involved with both, but has anyone else considered this as relevant to the future plot?

On the one hand it was "illegally" placed on Walt's car, on the other had, it is a "paper trail" (sorry, too much JFF talk) that proves Walt is in communication with both.

I don't think Walt is going to end up in court, so it doesn't really matter about the legality of it.

I thought about the tracker and his visits to Jesse and Saul.

It will move the ending along quicker and keep all players in the game once hank takes a look at where Walt has traveled to?

My question is this, when did Hank tag Walter's car with the tracker?

Someone on another board said something about Mike having his drink "on the rocks" while Walt would drink it straight, when they were at the bar together where Walt got punched. Then in a season 5 episode (I can't remember which) we see Walt drinking "on the rocks". For a show with so much attention to detail, why would Walt suddenly go from drinking straight to "on the rocks", if not for this reason?

He killed Mike and has taken on his habit of drinking his scotch on the rocks.

Hank has nothing on Walt, and he can't turn him in without looking like a complete idiot. Honestly don't think the tracker or the DEA will come into play much, having thought about it.

Pretty sure yall are missing the car that Walt is driving as well in the flash forwards. It's almost a dead-ringer for the kind of car Mike drove.

Hank basically already knows everything that the tracker would tell him, and it's not anything that could be used as evidence anyway. About the only thing it doesn't is tell him that Saul is his lawyer, but that wouldn't be difficult to figure out.

Hank was still trying to verify his suspension that Walt was Heisenberg. He wasn't reviewing all of his evidence to convict Walt of crimes; he was doing it to convince himself that his suspicions were true. I suspect that the tracker on Walt's car was for the same purpose. He just wanted to verify that he was right before pursuing the case "officially."

As to WHEN he put the tracker on the car...I don't know. At this point, that seems like a plot hole since I don't know when he could've done it. I doubt very seriously that he did it before he left their house when he took the book. As far as I know, he couldn't have driven over there since to do it. Maybe he got Gomez to do it? Maybe it wasn't his tracker at all?

Why couldn't he drive over there and do it in the middle of the night?

taint pretty sure it was Hank's tracker cause Walt finds it where they placed it on Gus's car. Then in the garage Walt tells Hank it looks just like it.

Either way when and how the tracker got there is a mystery. Oh I also don't think he got Gomez to put it there. Especially since at the beginning of the garage scene the other two agents ask Hank if there anything he wants them to tell Gomez since he is worried about him. Besides I think Hank wouldn't want to bring this to light yet until he is absolutely sure.

Anyone else notice how they made it seem like Walt was on an airplane at the very beginning of the scene showing him going through chemo (while he's on the phone with Saul)? Re-watched it last night and was wondering if that was on purpose or not.

I thought that too Doug, but that's how standard chemo room looks. I think they just wanted it to take a second before you realized where he was.
