she said she tried weighing it (and went into detail about how many grams a bill weighs), but realized there were too many different denominations for that to work. (e.g., even if you figure out you have 795,000 bills, that doesn't tell you how much money you have, just a minimum and maximum frame).

it wont all be lost. flash forward WW has a black bag in the trunk with the M60 (a bag that looked like the bags of cash he gave Jessie - $2.5m per bag), and that bag is much larger than the bag of cash he gave Saul from the truck stockpile.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My main question is will Walt have a chance to redeem himself. Does he even deserve a chance?

Walt's done horrible things, but a part of me wants him to get away with it just because for the entire series, he's taken the initiative and done something for himself while everyone else has mooched off of him (either in terms of money or his ability to cook).

just watched Talking Bad.

i hope Aaron Paul didn't inadvertently give away a big clue to how his and Walt's relationship goes from here.

I have them recorded. That post helped me decide I will not watch them. Maybe after the series is over.

Few comments after re-watching tonight, either of which may not be significant to the future plot:

- When Todd and co are leaving the lab/shooting site, the Uncle says something along the lines of "lets get it boys, lets get it all". Are they disassembling the lab and moving the entire operation to another location I presume?

- The original reason Hank went into work is because of Marie's question about whether or not he could go to jail over knowing about Walt, but saying nothing. Maybe the conversation coming up with Jesse will change his original intent, but we could very well see Hank bring the DEA into the loop in the next episode. Will be interesting to see what the reaction is, being that it is his brother in law.

That seems like the most likely conclusion. Lydia has to fix the quality issue with the product quickly.

Presumably yes. She wants Todd to cook. Crazy bttch is making her own lab with Todd.

She is doing this to appease the Czechs, but with the slaughter, what she has done has opened up the market for the entire southwest. There will be a vacuum. Walt doesnt have the stupidity to start back cooking with Hank on his tail, so we will see what comes into play.

Seemed pretty obvious, but I did miss the lotto numbers.

To me, Huell looked at Kuby like he thought they should have taken more or at least some of the cash.

I'm having a hard time with the yellow Heisenberg spray painted in the house. I want to think it was Hank trying to get Walt to flip out and make a mistake (it's just to easy to for it to be the czechs).

Then again, Walt is always the smartest guy in the room which leads me to believe, like someone above mentioned, maybe the drug money for Hank's rehab is the way out for the White family.

What if Walt and Skyler convince Hank and Marie that Hank goes down with them based on the rehab money. The best way out for Hank is to help fake Walt's death (explains Carol's look and dropping the oranges) and put Skyler and the kids in witness protection. Hank loses his job for the same reasons he told Marie. Marie, Hank, Skyler and the kids run off under witness protection to live off of the late Walter White's master plan.

Series ends forcing the viewer to see WW as a martyr. But not until WW kills chain smoking Jessie with the resin for fear he will spill his guts at some point. It's possible that Hank insist that Jesse die because Hank knows how much Jesse hates him. WW has killed all his other co-cooks.

Here's an interesting article on Vince Gilligan and BB from a excellent site that I subscribe to. http://www.fastcocreate.com/1683604/top-showrunners-explain-what-made-breaking-bad-so-good?partner=newsletter

The site is actually really deep if you checkout the nav across the top. Good reads for tech, creative, and futurist types.

Jesse saying (to saul) "tell me the truth, ISNT THAT WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT?" and saul replying with "I NEVER WOULD HAVE AGREED TO IT IF I HAD KNOWN WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO, YOU GOTTA BELIEVE ME!" that right there sounds like Jesse knows about Brock. Jesse would be referring to Huell (and Saul) helping Walt with the poisoning of Brock.

Perhaps Saul is talking about giving Jesse's money to Walt which in tern he gives back to Jesse, instead of to the two familys?

I assume the old man called the cops when Jesse was on merry-go-round. So they discovered all the cash when they picked him up.

Jesse and Hank have a common enemy now. Given where he is as a character, and the fact that Hank will reveal to him he knows it was Walt, I think it would be most likely that Jesse will flip.

Something happens to make Walt go into hiding and the house be abandoned, so Jesse flipping is one possibility.

I disagree with this premise.

Also, I think the "confessions" title of the next show has to do with Walt and Skylar telling Jr. about this. I dont expect they'll tell him the truth, certainly not all of it, but some story to justify hauling ass.

Maybe they all (the White family) end up in witness protection in NH, with Walt agreeing to help nail Madrigal and the Czechs. Hank would hate that because he wants his white whale nailed, but the DEA would sure ass hell listen to such a deal.

a GPS tracker did not need to be in the barrels... just on the van... and it would be one that Saul could have tracked in real time, not the crappy one that Hank used on Fring... he just gets the coordinates for when the van was sitting in the same place for 14 hours while Hank dug.
Citizen Reign
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Actually, the Whites may not have to worry about Hank. It's very possible that next weeks Confessions episode is Jesse getting Hank in the interrogation room and confesses to it all. What Hank doesn't see coming is that Jesse is also confesses that Hank was in on the whole thing.

Does Jesse know that Hank's rehab was covered by Blue Meth? I thought is was odd how the two cops stressed to Hank. "You can watch ourguy while we grab some coffee." Hank takes/kidnaps Jesse.

Leaving Hank no choice but to flee with the Whites or allow WW to use the risen on Jesse. Family is off limits for WW. As Jesse said to Walt, "looking over your shoulder is not the way you work."

The yellow spray paint could still be the doing of Hank or WW.

Hank is not going to Break Bad - i.e. not going to agree to live with the "monster" in order to avoid prison. That doesn't ring true to the character at all to me. He'd go to prison before fleeing and living on the lam with a murderer, a person he suspects may have contributed to the twins attacking him.

I'll be shocked if Jesse gives up Walt. Even though he know Walt's gone off the deep end that seems like a cop out way to go with the story.

I just started reading BB threads here last week after I finally caught up, so I apologize if this has been covered but I wasn't going to read 75 pages to check.

Does Saul Goodman's name imply he will do something crazy in the last 6 episodes to become a good man?

Biblically, Saul became Paul after Jesus' death when he converted to Christianity and stopped persecuting Christ's followers, therefore becoming a 'good man'.

Maybe a 'good guy' will die and Saul will be convinced to change his ways?

Walt as the main character doesn't compare to Jesus in a way I'm comfortable with, but maybe Jesse, or Brock or someone more innocent dying could have a profound impact on Saul?

Again, most characters on BB fall somewhere inbetween good and bad, so it might not be a perfect theory, but I thought I'd check to see if this has been discussed before or if there was a consensus belief.

"It's All Good Man"

I think that is what his name means. Not something from the bible.

But hell, I could be wrong.
Citizen Reign
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I like the idea that Saul planted a GPS device on the van. Walt pretty much has disrespected and just overlooked him. After all, standing by the van, Saul did tell Walt "In case you need me? I'm thinking the probability is high." Saul knowing that Walt has underestimated him and could not have done it without him.

If so, the flash forward scene was WW having just discovered the cash is gone and is going back to get the risen to off himself.

I'm wondering if Hank is just trying to figure out if Jesse is going to talk or not so he can see how much time he has to make his moves before ABQ PD or the DEA figure out it was Walt.

So that his family can keep his money? Sklyer touched on it this week while in the bathroom with Walt. If he gets caught it's gone but if he's dead it's fair game.

This is a pretty plausible outcome.

It is gone if he confesses or if they find him guilty. It is called the RICO Act. It has nothing to do with him being dead. If it is found and he is convicted of making money off the sale of illegal drugs the feds can confiscate it all.
