Well if they have a shoot out at the OK Corral type thing then I will be disappointed. Everyone is making Walt out to be this tough psycho. In a phsical altercation or a gun battle he has proven to be pretty worthless. He got lucky with Mike and even on the kill shot was very awkward. Now poisoning someone or blowing them up then yes, he is your man.

I could see Jesse confessing to Hank and getting immunity for all the drug cooking and dealing. But I don't see how you get immunity for killing Gale. That's what Walt can hang over Jesse's head to keep him quiet. Walt can say "You talk about me, and I will tell them all about who killed Gale."

Maybe ... but that would be more of a confirmation, I think, than confession.

But you may be right. Now ... who else could sit in those chairs???

Regarding the 2 flash-forwards and the Ricin-

The one other time we've seen something like this in this show was the "747 Down Over ABQ" episodes. In hindsight, how many people guessed correctly on what that was leading to?

I think the ricin simply being to commit suicide or poison Jesse via cigarette are both way to obvious and easy to guess. I think the whole situation Walt is in in general is still something that the majority of viewers (on this thread alone) have not correctly pieced together.

The first time around, the fact that a character in the show was a flight director didn't even become known until, what, the second to last episode? I think we see something similar this time around. AKA, the information we need to guess the ending is not yet available, and may not be for weeks.

What we know about the flash-forwards is that he's acquired a machine gun and his vial of ricin.

The ricin is for killing one person he's likely close to in a way that doesn't appear to be murder and appears that Walt had nothing to do with it.

The machine gun is for killing lots of people who he's likely not as close to in a way that is obvious to everyone that it was murder and that Walt was definitely the one who did it.

The machine gun will be used to send a message. The ricin is the opposite.

Assuming Walt isn't planning to pass either of those 2 items along to someone else to use.

"confessions" will be Walt and Skylar telling Jr whatever it is they're gong to tell him, plus Jr and Lewis confessing something right back to them. maybe the boys have been smoking pot, and Jr figured out some time ago who his dad was.

On the ricin - if he wants to use it to kill someone, why go there for it? why wouldn't he just make some more?

I really think Walt is going to have to kill Hank and he uses the Ricin to do it. Like maybe Sklyer tells him to escape with her and run from Hank but he decides he needs to kill him. This is Walt's last 'episode' of breaking bad. Doing something he has said ALL ALONG he wouldn't do.

For this Skyler leaves him and takes the kids and money. He loses it all in the end but his family is safe.

I think the gun is used to ward off Lydia and her goons at some point before he kills Hank.

how can Jesse poison anybody with the ricin if it's still hidden in Walt's house where literally nobody else knows about it? I don't understand some of the theories y'all are floating out there

Still think its something we are missing.

Maybe between now and the last episode, Walt tells someone about the Ricin, and is grabbing it before they can?

I also think (as a few people have said) that Gretchen and Elliott could somehow re-enter the plot. Maybe as good guys, maybe as bad guys...They're just the only relevant characters who are still alive that haven't been around for a while, and could be throw a wrench into our predictions.

Am I missing anyone else that is still alive from past seasons that matters?

Edit- Ted is still alive. Also Jesse's family. (not saying any of them have anything to do with Walt in the final episode, but just characters who could make an appearance and somehow change things that we don't yet know)

How's this for wild-@ss theories...

"Confessions" isn't about Walt or Jesse or Skylar confessing their involvement in the crimes, it's Hank's boss' confession...along with Jesse & Gomez...about Jesse's role this entire time as a DEA informant.

Perhaps he's always been a mole since the beginning, or maybe he was recruited at some point along the way as a way to stay out of prison.

Gale isn't really dead. Jesse really did move his gun to the side to merely wing him instead of kill him.

Saul was brought in along the way, too. Hell, maybe he was recruited by the DEA at an earlier date due to some kind of leverage the DEA has on him. Perhaps Jesse introducing Saul & Walt was orchestrated by the DEA as a way to inject Saul into the investigation.

The laser tag place with "Danny" that Saul was pushing so hard for Walt to buy? It's a DEA front. Danny was probably a DEA agent. Hell, Huell and Bill Burr might even be DEA.

Hank was left out of the loop this whole time because the DEA brass was worried he was involved with Walt or would give it away by accident, even if they knew he knew nothing of Walt's involvement.

When Hank started suspecting Gus, Hank's boss at the time & Gomez treated Hank like he was crazy. They even tried to get him shipped off to El Paso, promoted him to a desk job, and put him on mandatory leave trying to make sure he stayed out of the investigation.

Obviously there are a few holes in this theory that I can't account for...but if you think the final 6 episodes won't involve some completely out-of-left-field unpredictable plotline...you haven't been watching.

I fully expect something out of left field, but to date, the show hasn't pulled anything THAT far out of left field.

As far as Gale, the theory that he is alive went out the window when we saw him on the floor with a hole through his head in episode 1 of the following season.

And I don't think the DEA had any reason to not just bust Walt on the spot if Jesse or Saul had been an informant all this time. They'd have had all the proof that they needed, and had THE guy controlling the Southwest.

I just don't see Walt murdering Hank unless there is a struggle of some sort. Ricin is for Todd or Lydia imho.
Dr. Not Yet Dr. Ag
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Todd will be gunned down, he's not important enough to be killed with ricin. The ricin is for someone special.

Has anyone pointed out the obvious that in the flash forwards Walt has long hair, but that he is currently on chemo, which means in the near future he is going to quit chemo at which point his hair starts growing?

If Walt is going to kill Hank he would have done it long before the flash forward scene where he gets the ricin back.

What we know is there are at least two people Walt is gonna kill. One with ricin the other with the gun. The gun lends to the idea he wants to need more than 6 bullets.

So who has a standing army? Skinheads, cartel, Chileans?
sharkenleo
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Gray Matter WILL come into play in some form or another before the end, imo. Hank may start looking into people from Walt's past to gather more evidence. And even though it's not terribly important, they might finally explain why things ended between Gretchen and Walt.

Agreed. However, Walt did ask Skyler not let anyone have the money. If she can move it to another country to launder some of it, she could do alright for her and the kid.

The more i think about it though, its gotta be Saul that gets away with the riches. He has just been way underestimated by WW and way too instramantal in the money and heavy lifting part of things.

Yeah, his Gus and Mike protected him from the cartel. The prison nazis protected him from Gus and Mike. He doesn't have anyone to protect him from the prison nazis, unless he makes a deal with the DEA. But from the looks of it, he's going to look after his own business with that machine gun.
