I doubt that they would go there so soon after The Shield.

Did something similar happen on The Shield? Never seen it.

Yep.

I thought Saul or one of his employees poisoned Brock. Isn't that what was revealed when Jesse hit him?

I didn't quite understand all that through jesse's whiny voice. Can someone explain what was discussed in that scene?

Just watched. Wow.

I think Gomie's a goner, but Hank survives, severely injured. Jessie flees into the desert. Nazi's take Hank back to the hate hut (or whatever they call their base) and interrogate him to find out what he knows.

With less certainty, I think Hank escapes, maybe helped by Walt who has shown that physically harming Hank is the one line he won't cross, or maybe Hank manages his escape by his own ingenuity. He calls down the DEA on the Nazi's and that's the shootout that snips most of the loose ends. Hank gets home to find that Marie killed herself, having thought that Walt managed to turn the tables on Hank and kill him when he didn't come home. (The way she was talking to her therapist about poisons ... I definitely think she offs herself).

Ok no more responses to my question about the poisoning. Last time we got on that track I almost gave up on this thread.

The only thing missing from some of these theories is Jax and Tig riding in and stopping Darby from buying meth from Uncle Jack.

Dumb question...

Could Hank be ozimandias? Cut down in the desert, etc?

So the Nazis are in control. They have the weapons and numbers there at the site. Assume they kill Hank and Gomez. Maybe after another hour of shooting. Whatever.

At this point they would feel Walt owes them big time. They just killed two DEA agents. Walt should cook for them. But Walt has another idea. He would plead for them to spare Jesse from being killed. And then Walt would convince the nazis that Jesse is a better prize since he is not dying and just as good a cook. If the Nazis flee the scene taking Jesse, Walt has all his money back. Assuming Jesse does not tell the nazis about the money.

Also, didn't Marie wear black in that last scene. Like a widow. She almost always wears purple.

It always comes down to Nazi's.

Also, for those following the "Walt takes on characteristics of those he kills" theorists . . .

So Mike abandoned his granddaughter in order to save his own life just before he died. Could Walt abandon Holly and Walt, Jr. in order to get out of town should he survive this scene?
The Debt

Just caught it.

Look if these guys are neonazis chances are they go to the woods twice a year and play survivalist/soldier and learn how to flank an enemy. Gomie and Hank dont have Herschel's shotgun, and who knows how much firepower whitepower brought.

I seriously doubt Jessie runs away from the situation. Anyone ever seen No Country For Old Men? Its not exactly a tenable position running away from trucks in the dessert. The average runner runs at 10-12 mph, even at a cautious 20 mph they close the gap tout suite.

I think Walt "sells" Jessie into the indentured service of the Nazis (as he claimed Hank did to him) to save Jessie's life. Jessie reluctant to cook, gets beat on and spills about the money. Nazi's dig but it takes months. They find it. Walt goes ballistic. EOD.

Walk still has a loose end: Marie. She knows Hank arrested Walt before Hank goes missing. If she sees Walt back at his house she knows her hubby is dead. Then she goes mental. Walt takes care of her but cant cover it up. He goes into hiding.

Nazis spray paint the house
Mega Lops
How long do you want to ignore this user?

I think the Heisenberg spray paint is getting too much attention here. I'm betting it was done by the hoodlums using the pool as their own private skate park. There was spray paint on the exterior of the house and planks covering where the glass door used to be.

Another interesting point that ties in the Heisenberg graffiti:

Google the similarities between Ozymandias (which is the next episode name BTW) and Walter White. Cranston even recites the poem.

The broken statue of Ozymandias declared:

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

This parallels the broken home of the Whites and the hollow threat of the name Heisenberg.

quote:
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Since the promos, it's been clear that Gilligan used the Shelley poem to set the scene for the viewers that we'd get to watch the wrecking of Heisenberg and his empire.
The "What's my name?" scene is basically the "Look on my works" portion of the Ozymandias inscription, IMO.

I would be too nervous. I normally DVR the episodes and watch them Monday. I almost ran across spoilers twice yesterday. Once on Google News and once just reading a sports related website. People on the internet run their eMouths too much.

I am watching the last 3 live.

No way in hell can I wait. I wish I can go back and not watch any of this show until it was all finished, have a friend inform me about BB and just marathon through the whole thing.

At the last of the show, did the previews have the Gray Matter women talking about getting back together? I still think there is connection with Gray Matter and meth and maybe Madragal...

Well now that it's out there, I did see somewhere a few weeks back that Gretchen Black will be showing up before the end. Will be very interesting to see how Gretchen and/or Grey Matter play into things. I was really hoping we'd get more of that story.
