There was a bit of new footage of Mando and Grogu last night during the UH game.
I love Grogu knocking on Mando's helmet.

Even my mom, who likes Star Wars about as much as I like knitting or vegetables, commented on how cool the poster was.
Two years later, my dad tried to get my mom to watch the ending lightsaber fight with us when we watched it on DVD and her response was "why are their swords different colors?" while Ray Park defied gravity.
I was 10 in 1998 and I don't have a huge amount of specific, vivid memories at the movie theater that year, except this poster. (Well that, and seeing Titanic.)
I specifically remember seeing that poster and being really intrigued and excited to watch that, and knowing how big a deal it was.
Even though to that point, I'd never seen the OT before, but knew all about it through osmosis like most kids did in the 90's.

I was in college. There was such an insane level hype for that movie that I can't recall another movie since that was such a phenomenon. Maybe The Dark Knight or Endgame, but even those seem tame compared to Phantom Menace.

Thankfully filmed before Pedro shaved his moustache. A few bits of new footage including some Clone War super battle droids and ... practical sets!

I was 14 when I was dropped off at the theater to see Titanic with a few friends. It was long and quite a bit of the movie was lame... but "draw me like one of your French girls" and the iceberg came in with a huge save.

Yeah, gotta chime in here as someone in his teens and 20's in the 90's, the only time straight males watched Titanic was when it was with a girl who's pants they were trying to get into.

That is the exact same reason i went, and then double-downed by buying her the soundtrack for Christmas so w could uh, "revisit", the experience a few more times.
