Soooo what was the point of the rock?

Until Wrestlemania 40 I hadn't watched WWE since around Wrestlemania X7. Is it just me or did that main event feel kinda lackluster? Really needed JR and King in there announcing it lol

Lackluster is exactly the feeling. Bad booking. Crazy to me since it's Vegas but oh well. So much good about the weekend, and so much good about that match. It's just blatant disrespect imo to book that ending.

Wasn't a fan of that at all. There was only one match both nights that somebody came out and interfered in and it's Travis Scott in the main event. Come on


And yes I know Herman and Carlito interfered but I'm referring to someone coming out of the back unexpected.

Are y'all talking about the rapper Travis Scott? I haven't kept up in 2-3 years much but he's involved in a program in WWE that includes an intereference of the Main Event at Wrestlemania?

No Rock and on both nights the main event ended with a hit to the balls

Travis Scott sucked but WWE is always going to take those mainstream crossovers. Still excited for Cena's heel run and how it ends up playing out.

The ending wasn't great, but that was an overall fantastic day.

Women's triple threat was incredible.

Drew and Priest was great and Drew rightly got the win.

4 way match was excellent and Dirty Dom is a star. Some of y'all are crazy - that was the right move both for the moment and the upcoming story with Finn. The crowd completely flipped, and was going bananas for him.

Logan and AJ was solid... poor AJ, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time putting over Logan Paul. But it made sense and hopefully sets up a good run with AJ and Kross, who has been really building something lately.

What a pop and moment for Joe Hendry. And that was a super fun match and RKO. Randy doing Joe's move and his pose was hilarious.

Becky is back... biggest fan of The Man right here


Up next Cena vs Randy in Randy's hometown. Guessing Cena will run it back vs most of his old rivals. I'd be willing to bet its him vs Punk at Summer Slam.

This may be one of those years where the raw after is the best part of wrestlemania week....

Sadly I expected last night to be a lot like last year with a bunch of run ins (at the least have Dustin cone out of the crowd to take out Scott). But hey, at least Scott wasn't smoking this time

I thought at least one person would come to cancel out Scott. Whether that was some other musician or a celebrity in the crowd.

Also, it would've been a cool reveal if they were going to go this way with Seth and Hayman that they come out and help Cena to form the faction with the rock as the new authority faction

Pretty lackluster end to an otherwise great main event match. Cena's storytelling throughout the match was great. He showed us a glimpse of what could have been if they'd given him a heel run at his peak.

Pro wrestling traditionally works best when there's a heel champion with a babyface chasing him. A heel Cena championship run would be epic and do some big numbers. No better way to get a heat on a heel than to put him on top and let the arrogance flow.

Didn't like the way they did it…but they did it.

Heel championship run for Cena. This should be a lot of fun.

It will be if it's not just Rhodes in the mix.

I'd love to see Cena face Orton, Punk, La Knight, Roman and then eventually turn on the rock to finish as a face.
Rock vs Cena 3.0 would be a great final match for John.

As for the world title I'd imagine Seth goes after that with Paul Heyman at his side.

If they were intent on continuing to build the heel turn, Cody didn't have to drop the belt at Wrestlemania.

Two scenarios:
Ref gets bumped -- Cena makes an extended, uncounted pin ... only to have Cody snatch victory from defeat.

Or

An infuriated Cena puts an epic beatdown on Cody after Cody gets the 1-2-3. He could even be joined in the beatdown by the Rock, Seth, Heyman ... or all the above.

This Axis of Evil could then target Cody in the ensuing months, or anyone who has been remotely aligned with him (Ordon, Jei Uso, and I'm sure there are other names that would fit/match that criteria).

HHH has done a lot of good work during his time as head of talent.

This was not that.

Big E as a hell would be perfect for a new Dangerous Alliance.

Overall i thought Mania was a dud, nowhere near what it use to be. Hell Raw came off way better, but i feel like they have shifted to trying to do that every year anyways. Still wish AEW would take that next step and put together an extravaganza type event like Mania. That coupled with their wrestling talent and overall matches would be something to see. Here's to hoping all in, in Dallas is production gold!
