I talked to a friend that watched the show as well. He thinks that mr robot is not alive and is just a hallucination as well. That's what I'm leaning to. I think he's hallucinating his dad and anything we see mr robot do, it's actually Elliott doing. Much like Fight Club.

I think it would fit better that Mr. Robot is dead and Elliott has been hallucinating him the whole time.

Would explain why his sister didn't seemed shocked or surprised when Mr. Robot would go off. She's probably been used to Elliott freaking out and going off like this....

If you remember, she asked if he had forgotten who she was again...like this isn't the first time he has remembered/forgotten who she was.

Amazing episode, love this show.

By the way, the intro scenes each week are brilliantly done. One of my favorite things about this show.

I keep thinking about Mr Robot and if he exists in real life (not just Elliot's reality). I'm leaning towards Elliot hallucinating Mr Robot. Although what confuses me is Elliot met with Tyrell in the beginning of the season and it seemed Tyrell was in control of that situation... And then Tyrell met with Mr Robot in the car and Mr Robot was in control. If Tyrell is seeing Elliot both times... Knowing full well Elliot is in charge of fsociety... Then the meeting in that big conference room really confuses me. Am I making any sense?

Also any time I tell people about this "great TV show on USA called Mr Robot" I get snickers about watching a show called "Mr Robot". Very frustrating, because I just want people to get past the silly name

Ok I caught on today. Binge-watched the entire season. Great series, particularly surprised that it's a USA Network original. But the bar has risen so highly due to shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

Interesting analysis. Like the theory on Mr. Robot and why Elliot would say he is dead. He was likely too young to understand divorce (or his parents hid it) and his mother later told him that his dad was dead. Gotta be more to the Angela story too. Always thought it was weird that she is friends with Elliot because both their parents died.

Well, Angela is also friends with Elliot's sister. So I think that in it self shows Angela is connected to their family more than Elliot's view of the world has let us see.

Yea I agree with ya'll that there could be alot more there between Angela and Elliot's family than we originally were lead to believe.

That was a great episode. In guessing Mr. Robot is still alive but who knows. I guess we will see.

How has there not been a single comment in the three hours since the penultimate episode ended? Nearly every question answered, with the proceedings about to go in a crazy new direction. This is THE show of the summer - maybe the best show of 2015 - and it depresses me to no end that hardly anyone is watching.

I'm watching TCTTS!! This show is CRAZY good. ..just ashamed I'm in love with a show on USA.

While this show is certainly a different direction than what they have done in the past USA has had plenty of entertaining shows over the past few years.

Overall this was a great episode and may have been even better that the prison break one earlier in the season but the one thing that struck me as off was E. Corp offering Angela a job. Im sure it will fit in the bigger picture but it certainly seems like a stretch.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with this show in future seasons. This season has been awesome and is the best thing I've watched in a long time. But a huge part of this season has been the intrigue of who is real, who isn't real, etc. Now that those questions have been answered it will be interesting to see if the show continues to be great in upcoming seasons.

It seems like the show has picked up a little steam by word of mouth. The Ticket has referenced it a couple times on the radio and a few of my friends have started watching. Season 2 could get a lot more viewers, especially if it can be streamed and if it gets a lot of award recognition.

I think that was to emphasize how little impact the things that are important to the "regular" person is to a company like E. Corp. Hell, they pointed out the fact that they built a rainy day fund for this that will end up making them a $400 million profit after they lose the lawsuit. So it was just a recognition of the big corporation "we promote the cut throat, stab each other in the back mentality" and we think you would be a great employee here because that matters more in the long run than a lawsuit (which is actually pretty freaking close to the mark for senior level employees at the large corps in the world).

On a separate note, loved the piano version of Pixies "Where is my mind" playing at the end when they were walking through fsociety HQ (and yes for those that forgot, that is the song playing at the end of Fight Club).

Another question that I'm really looking forward to get answered in season 2 is, what did Elliot do to get court mandated psychiatric care with medication before season one started? Especially knowing now that the girls have seen Elliot go through this before (even if not as bad).

I'm watching as well but always catch it the next day.

Amazing episode and awesome last scene with the homage to Fight Club, one of my favorite novels and movies.

I love the production in this show. Interested to see how they wrap it up but so far it's been one of the best debut seasons since maybe Homeland or True Detective. Solid show that more people should be watching.

Another great episode. Interesting to see Tyrell and Elliott team up so to say. Two crazys running FSociety, who knows what they will do now.

Finally got to watch it. Holy **** this show is amazing! Best show I've watched since Breaking Bad. These last two episodes have been insane.

I was genuinely sad for Elliot (and myself) to find out that his dad really was dead.

I was just starting to think he was actually alive. Then bam.

I like how Eliot is always sort of breaking the 3rd wall as he talks to himself, especially in this episode right after the big reveal at his dad's grave when he looks at the camera and says "I bet you knew all along didn't you."

It made me think of this thread and how we've all been saying how obvious it's been. It's like the writers admitted that they've been trolling us the whole time, but not in a bad way.

Agree. I've enjoyed the whole season and style. Yes I have reservations about the show long term, but doesn't mean it can't be a great 3 or 4 season show. Or they could just not try to mindwarp after the great first season and we'd all jusy enjoy the story going forward now that we're hooked. That's the most logical way to do it.

Finally got caught up. Great show. I feel like it was written and filmed for HBO or similar with the blatant f-bombs bleeped out. I like how the last 4 episodes or so got into the meat of the characters.

I am not worried about the show long term. I feel like it probably has a strong storyline with an ending.

Love et's way of saying how the writers knew all along and they were just trolling us. I was beginning to think perhaps his dad is alive during this last episode... And nope! Such good writing. I talked to a friend that I pretty much forced her to watch so I can have someone to talk to about this show and we both agreed after the season finale, knowing how much Elliot is hallucinating... We gotta go back and rewatch the episodes. I read an interview where the woman playing Darlene said she knew the whole time she was Elliot's sister and acted as such.

I really want to see the scene that caused the delay, If you're not familiar, do a little digging into tv pop culture "predicting" these type of events.

I really hope they show the whole thing next week and don't take out the talked about scene. I don't see how they could take it out at this point if it involves a major character dying.
