At the risk of sounding insensitive, has there been any information from USA if the episode will be edited to remove the scene or air in its original version?

So how many Emmy noms/wins is this show getting?

I'm pretty sure I read that it will air in its entirety. I don't remember where i read that though.

I wonder if the scene will indeed be similar or if they were being overly cautious.

I could see that. Tyrell has come unhinged. He has gone from beating homeless people senselessly. To murdering the CTO's wife and then threatening to kill Elliott. It would make sense that he would completely lose it and just kill outright in public.

On the other hand, I can see Tyrell working with Elliott in taking down the CEO who fired him, somehow framing him for the murder of the CTO's wife, then the CEO goes bat **** crazy and kills people.

I'm just totally speculating here.

No idea who was at the door. I think Tyrell is dead though. I don't have any evidence of this, but I think this for whatever reason.

His comment about watching Rome burn made me think he wasn't really working for ecorp. Maybe ecorp thinks he's helping them but he's really not?

Yeah I think he might be too, but at the same time, I would have thought they would have showed his body or something. He was a major character and they never fully addressed it.

There's some weird connection between Tyrell and Elliott that I can't figure out yet. That scene with Ellliott and Tyrell's wife was very odd. I think she knew him and the way she spoke to him in Swedish/Finnish (whatever Scandinavian language that is), to gauge his reaction, and her reaction to his response of not understanding was really odd... The way Elliott said "Tyrell knows the password which means that I know the password". The way Tyrell has met with Mr. Robot in his car coordinating, yet arrives at Elliott's appt in the previous episode, seemingly knowing that Elliott wouldn't remember that meeting...

If the logic wouldn't have so many disconnects, I'd almost predict that Tyrell is yet another of Elliott's personalities. But the separate Ecorp/Allsafe jobs won't allow that (Tyrell's secretary didn't recognize Elliott, and Gideon has met with Tyrell at Ecorp).

With all the info we got the last 2 episodes, I bet there's more stuff to notice if the earlier episodes are re watched.

Yep. Thinking about queue them up and rewatching as soon as I can get some time for a marathon.

I do kinda like the theory that Tyrell is another personality of Elluott. It would explain how weird Tyrells wife was acting in their conversation. But I agree that I don't see how you could explain the two different jobs that Elluott and Tyrell have. Also, when Elliott asked for Tyrell, the secretary didn't look at him like he was crazy.

Grantland just posted a phenomenal podcast interview from Andy Greenwald with Sam Esmail, post-finale. Super informative, and Esmail comes across as a really great guy...

Am I the only one who thought this show started getting too weird? I especially liked it mid-season but the past three episodes started losing me. I guess I never recovered from the Grey's anatomy Izzy talking to dead people bs a few years ago...

I have nothing bad to say about this show

There are times when the show is a bit nuts but you have to remember that it is being told from the perspective of a guy with mental issues that he should be taking meds for but is not.

I read a theory on another message board that Tyrell is the one with multiple personalities and Eliot is one of them...not the other way around.

I don't necessarily buy that due to the reasons listed above, but it's clear that the writers are trying to make us at least consider the idea that they are both the same person.

Also, who is the man behind the mask for fsociety? First I thought it was Elliott's dad, but while Elliott was watching the Broadcast at Ecorp, I thought it was Tyrell.

Yep, considered that too, but too many "real" characters (Darlene, Angela, Gideon), all know and talk to Elliott by name. Likely not a multiple personality thing, but there is something weird going on between the two of them...

I feel like Ecorp is using Angela to ultimately betray Elliott; they know it was Elliott who hacked them, and the CEO has some twisted plan to take him down by getting his childhood friend to turn on him...

White Rose is probably some CEO of a competing Chinese conglomerate to Ecorp, and Elliott is being used as a scapegoat/shill to take down Ecorp and drive the global corporate power to White Rose's company...

Next season has some really interesting story lines setting up!
