No.

Yes he did by a big amount too.

And Teddy said "That ace could not have helped you" and then "I bet it all" while dropping his three remaining chips stacks all over the pot (after he told him not to splash the pot.

He called and showed the flopped nut straight.

Now of course Teddy had said earlier they could reload whenever they wanted and Teddy could have brought more chips in any time. But he felted him. And said he could go on busting him all night.

Look at the start of the hand - shows their stacks and Teddy has a lot less.

The chip stacks move around a little during the scene, and you never get a great look at Mike's chips/bets until the end. But here is the math.

Chips in play $25 green, $100, black, $500 purple (assumed $500 based on typical chip colors)

KGB - big blind (single $100 chip)
Mike - small blind (2 $25 chips)
Mike doubles blind to $200, sounds like hit bets an additional black and 2 greens.
KGB calls additional hundred with 4 green chips from the top of his 2 stacks of green chips.
(Pot is $400)

Flop,
Mike checks.
KGB bets $2000, (one 20 chip stack of black $100)
Mike calls with equal 20 chip stack
(Pot is $4400)

Turn
Mike checks
KGB bets pot ($4400) with 2 stacks of black and 4 black chips.
Mike calls
(Pot is $13,200)

KGB goes all in, at 2:17 of YouTube video it you can see KGB stack at this point was 2 stacks of green, 1 partial stack of black (16 chips because he bet 4 off the full black stack on turn) and 2 full stacks of purple (40). Making his bet 40 purple ($20,000) 16 black ($1,600) and 40 green ($2,000) or $23,600
Mike calls and based on the different angles through the scene, my best guess is Mike definitely has 1 purple stack ($10,000) 6 black stacks that are varying height ($12,000) and 5.5 green stacks ($2,750) or $24,750. But his bet would only be $23,600 to match KGB's all in

Final pot total is $13,200 + $23,600 + $23,600 = $60,400.

Plus the $1,150 remaining in Mikes stack = $61,550 cash out.

The thing that always struck me as dumb was how Gramma was so pissed that Mike won. Like, you just got paid dude... You should be rooting for him! You'd rather have no money and beat Mike's ass?

Did he though? KGB bankrolled him and Mike just paid off KGB with his own money.

Blue diamond for you.

Your post has earthy tones, a smooth draw, and enough kick to win the high and the low.

Maybe because Mike is off the hook now, instead of being a long-term supplier of vig. And you could tell by his interactions with his dog and hooors that he gets off on the violence.

I met Texas Dolly at the WSOP, super nice, him and Mike Caro the mad genius of poker.

Have an autographed copy of SS2 from that year.

Poker boom was great while it lasted.

So Mike wouldn't have been killed if he lost the last hand, right?
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

Nope, probably would have ended up working for Knish for life to repay everyone including his prof.
