Does this movie cause you to do a burnout in the parking lot afterwards? If so, I'm definitely seeing it in the theater.

I'm really looking forward to this one. When I first saw the Trailers I wasn't sure but the more I saw them the more I liked it. It's got some great stars in it too. Should be a fun ride! (Pun intended)

Do some more of these. This idea has potential. It actually would probably make a decent sketch.

Worse is Keith Moon! He did all of that same stuff, AND kicked his drums and stuff around and broke them.

And don't EVEN get me started on that Townsend guy and his guitars.

movie of the summer

Very good movie. I'll let TCTTS write it up.

Has a 98 right now on RT

It was really an outstanding movie all around.

I don't have many gripes at all about it.

It's one of those movies like Crazy Stupid Love or Dark Knight that was executed flawlessly (IMHO) but will never be the type to get nominated for best picture.

I might see this a few more times in theaters! So good! Wright was already one of my favorite directors, but this might push him to #1

I think with 10 potential nominees, this can sneak into the Best Picture, but the editing is top notch. I can see a nomination there.

That was an awesome movie. The incorporation of the soundtrack into the movie was really top notch. I haven't had that much fun watching a movie in a while. I'll go back and watch this one again for sure.

Thought it was really really good. As others said it's really fun.

Had a few minor issues here and there, and a couple scenes suffered as I didn't feel they built enough tension for it to land perfectly, but can't complain overall. Just enjoyable.

Also, the classic romance angle could have easily been botched, but it works when they cast an all American girl like that, not some hot piece of ass that can't act and isn't believable.

To the point of Debora, I'm 100% convinced she was cast by a Twin Peaks fan of Shelly Johnson.

My son saw it last night - came home and offered to see it again w me... he loved the soundtrack

I was warming up to the trailers but had no idea it might be related to Scott Pilgrim and Sean of the Dead - can't wait to see it now

That movie was great fun. I'd highly recommend it. Can't think of a single complaint I'd have.

I thought it was really, really good. I don't know what I'm talking about, but it did feel like everything technical about it was perfect.

Minor gripe just for the sake of discussion: I think Jamie Foxx's character would have worked better as the big bad than Hamm's. I was more on the edge of my seat during the diner scene with the cokes than the last showdown between Baby and Hamm and I think that may have been the difference.

I know women make men do dumb things, but I would have re-written that sequence like this...

We saw the one guy on the ground at the shoot-out slightly move his hand indicating he was still alive. I LOVED the way Doc told them "Those are my cops!" and that whole scene set up. They could have built a **** ton of tension by asking, Bats saying they shot first, Buddy agreeing, then Spacey looks at Baby who doesn't give an answer, and suggests they go to bed.

Then, in the middle of the night Baby wakes up to Doc right over him telling him to be quiet, and either on paper (or with sign language since it's Doc's job to know everything about who he's working with) indicate silently to Baby that they left one survivor, and he'll ask one more time, who shot first? Baby acknowledges Bats shot first.

As he walks away confirming his suspicion, you see Bats and while not knowing what they said, he noticed Doc went over and talked to Baby.

That would have built so much tension between Bats & Baby, and set the post office robbery scene up MUCH better
