I don't get Paramount. Anyone know if this will be able to stream anywhere? There's no way I am missing this show.

I just checked iTunes, and it appears as if Paramount's first cable drama - Waco - was available there in real time, either the night of, or the morning after, each episode aired.

Yeah, both. Season pass for six Waco episodes is $14.99 - or - each episode is $2.99. Since Yellowstone is 10 episodes, though, I'm betting the season pass will be around $20 or so.

Some of his criticisms sound like he doesn't actually understand Sheridan, even after seeing the movies he wrote. His description of the characters sounds exactly like I would expect.

Probably the first two to five episodes or so.

The reviews don't surprise me, it didn't interest me when I saw the trailer - the idea of a powerful family doing powerful family things has been done so many times in so many different ways that you really need something unique to stand out, and other than the great back drop I just didn't see it here.
Maybe it grows into something over time though.

Had some hokey moments but overall I was quite fine with the premiere. Sheridan does need to learn how to expand his dialogue without so many analogies and literary devices for TV shows, but that comes with time. Sometimes a conversation can just be a normal conversation. Doesn't need to have a defining moment.

Loved the ending and how it pits the sides against each other.

Very first scene....shoots a horse....camera pans out....horse has disappeared. Know right now this is going to be corny.

Over all I enjoyed it and will give it a few episodes. Sure there were some cheesy moments, but it has some potential.

Haven't watched yet, so not sure specifically what you're referring to. But I've noticed in some shows they'll "say" the f bomb, but if you rewind and listen carefully they bleep it out in actuality. Suits does this every episode. Actually really annoying once you know what's going on. As for the nip slip....you have my attention.

They can do/say/show whatever they want on cable TV. It's just a matter of if the viewers and, more importantly, the sponsors will tolerate it.

Well, considering that the horse was in a trailer with its head sticking out of the window that's not surprising.

Yes, the powerful family story has been done many times but this puts a new twist on it with the ranching/Indians and beautiful setting. This first episode did have some predictable parts but I liked it and will continue watching. I think it will get better as the plot gets started and we start to see some character development. I also thought that the daughter was great.

My biggest complaint about the opening scene was that the trailer and load were still upright and the tractor (truck) was flipped and detached from the trailer. It just doesn't happen like that, Hollywood loves to portray fifth-wheel failures that rarely happen; it's the weight and momentum of the flipping load that flips the relatively light tractor over. (talking about the construction equip)

But that's not unique to Yellowstone so I don't hold it against them.

I thought the trailer was on it's side, and the horse was sticking it's head out the window? he shoots it, it falls...hence we dont see it when they go to a different view.

Either way, I've watched about 40 minutes. Pretty good so far....but it's very confusing at first. They jump right into the story, and I was struggling to keep up with the show, while figuring out what's what. I dont mind a little bit of that, but there was a lot going, and several branches introduced all at once in the beginning.
