Ok, of all things, the world is full of coincidences. Before this thread i never heard of shane black or kiss kiss bang bang. I post here, fo turn the tube on. There it is. Kiss kiss bang bang. This must be fate. So i watched it.Max Power said:I didn't care much for Iron Man 3, but The Nice Guys is pretty fun. But Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is definitely his best work, a great film.rhutton125 said:
I really liked Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but I've found Shane Black to be pretty spare outside of that. Not surprised to see that this whacky Predator comedy is a bust.
I did enjoy it. Very different and entertaining. Worked a little hard to be too cute, but overall good movie.
This is where things get really strange.
i notice that things look really familiar. A hotel in the movie. In La. A rooftop bar downtown with a pool.
*****
Thats the standard hotel. Ive stayed there a number of times. They filmed it there. Thats cool, cool to see a familiar place in the movie.
Place was wacked. Naked girl sleeping in a glass behind check in. Naked girl pics all over the gym wall [actually the old queen bicicle cover blown up]. ****ing weird urban red stick figures everywhere with sexual inuendo all over. It was definitely a bar on the roof in which you could probably buy some entertainment.
Then i start thinking about the movie theme. ****ed up sexual abuse of little girls and how they all grow up and end up in la, etc.,... end of movie scene val kilmer slapping around the sexually abusive dad after the daughter suicided because she saw who she thought was her real dad sexually touching who she thought was his other daughter.
Then i remember that the owners of the standard hotel died last year in a helicopter crash. Speculation was foul play.
Then i remember the q thread here in forum 16. A Q post a while back said the standard owners were child traffickers and affiliated with the Clinton foundation and haiti Relief fraud, tying all four ventures together.
At this point my mind is kind of blown. Thats a lot of weird **** coming together.
