Hell yes! Have been waiting for this, agreed it will probably have to be toned down as I remember some of those descriptions of what Clark does to what's-her-names pimp are better brutal.
Also I can't remember does this one deal with Islamic Terrorists, whoops I meant "Neo-Nazis" or not?
I know you are making a joke, but black irish is actually a thing. Picture Colin FarrellClaude! said:Maybe he's Black Irish.wangus12 said:As an Irish-American, I'm still so truly and deeply offended by this casting. This is institutional racism and it should not be tolerated.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:I still have no issue with the casting, but with all of these white actors curently bowing out of productions where they are portraying non-whites, shouldn't that apply to this production as well? Admittedly it has been many years since I read any of Clancy's novels, but I really don't recall the Clark character being black.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:

Actually I don't give a ****.

That would be a badass follow up. I'm making my way through all the Ryanverse for the first time, and The Campus would be really good too. You have to establish JR Sr.'s entire story though for it to make a whole lot of sense.

Theres enough Clancy work to use without dipping into the trash that is the work after his death.

New trailer out today.
Sooo...not really anything resembling the book at all
No offense to the writer, but this does temper my expectations in a massive way. Why not just use the story Tom Clancy presented?TCTTS said:
Just FYI...

This book has never been adaptable to screen. Many dorks are gonna be upset that it doesn't adequately portray their rape revenge fantasies.

With how much this board loves Taylor Sheridan (as do I), I'm legit surprised by how many "meh"/"hard pass"-like posts I'm seeing. I thought there would be WAY more excitement for this, for that fact alone. Sheridan teaming with Michael B. Jordan to tell a revenge story set in the world of Tom Clancy sounds like a TexAgs wet dream. Instead, people are b/tching that this isn't faithful to what sounds like some pretty dated source material? Huh? This looks awesome. Sign me the hell up.
