Premiered on Netflix yesterday. Based on a Dark Horse comic. Through the first four episodes and really digging it so far.

The show centers around a group of super humans who were all spontaneously born at the same time. The story slowly unveils the group's past and present as it moves along. Nice blend of superhero, supernatural and scifi. Hope to finish it this weekend.

Saw it and put it on my list. Let me know if it's worth watching it through

Is it something a younger kid could watch (someone who's been raised on Marvel movies) ? I'm really interested, and feel like it might be something my son (10 yr old) and I could watch together.

Its TV-14, so violence and language is on par with a Marvel movie. Tone is a lot darker though. One of the characters uses drugs heavily. Overall, I might compare this more to Legion than anything else.

Nope, nope, nope. Very violent. Dark. Language. Adult situations. Gore.

Having said that, two episodes left and having a lot of fun with this series. Would recommend.

It dragged on for me. Not as satisfying as I'd hoped, but I'll watch season 2 and hope the show reaches its potential by hiring better writers.

I'm sure there's a reason why they cast the donut lady with an old woman, but I don't care. Eww.

Agree on Five and Klaus. Easily the best characters.

Worth watching. Did drag a little towards the end. Production values were great

Looked up his IMDB, looks like he's only done some stuff on Nickelodeon before this. Spaceboy/Number One/Luther is Dickon Tarly from GoT. Mary J Blige is Cha Cha. Thought she was good.

She's not a bad actor, I think her character is just really boring.

I'm a few eps in and really enjoying the show overall so far. Number Five is great and Klaus is a trip.

School of Rock came out in 2003... Any of those kids are fully grown now.

I just watch the first 3 episodes. I find it quirky and entertaining. Easily binge worthy. Like some characters better than others, of course, but that's par for the course.

Luther and Hazel had moments but overall blah.

Vanya was a terrible character and Ellen page managed to make her less likeable somehow.

Overall a show really easy to binge, but definitely had some rough spots. Hope it survives the 2 season curse as it will be fun to see what happens down the road

Completely agree. On rec of my 16 YO, I binged the whole thing today. Thought it was great. If you like X-Men, give it a shot.

Loved it. Thought it was a blast, and a fresh take on super heroes. Agree on Number Five, but I guess I'm in the minority because I thought Klaus was just annoying.

Also, I absolutely despise Ellen Page. Have always disliked her as an actress and her bull**** the last few years has pushed her over the edge as far as someone I can even tolerate. I damn near didn't watch the show because of her, I hate her that much.

That said, separating personal and political views, I thought she was actually really good. Obviously she had the most important character arch and I thought she portrayed damaged/meek really well. I was hoping Allison would blow her head off at the end though.

Really looking forward to season 2.

I loved it and am eagerly awaiting season 2. There were a few weak actors in the bunch but I genuinely enjoyed it. I couldn't tell if I wanted to root for Five or punch him in the face, so I that (to me) says he did a great job. Despite their shortcomings I also enjoyed Hazel and Cha-Cha's characters. I'm still curious about how Ben died...
