I wasn't a big fan of the first season or so, but I hung in because all I kept hearing was how amazing the later seasons were. In fact I complained about the first season here and was basically told I was an idiot. There were glimpses in season 2, and by season 3 I was all in.
They were all totally right in the end, the last few seasons are some of the best tv anywhere. If you ever get the energy, give it a shot again. Imagine the incredible detail of Saul, and a remarkable series of plot lines with strong action. That's BB once it hits its stride.

But in my defense, he was a cop, and good at his job, but he committed the ultimate sinand testified against other cops gone bad. Cops that tried to kill him, but got the woman he loved instead.

Watched "The Young and the Restless" and "Bold and the Beautiful" soap operas while living in the dorm (Law Hall) ... did not have cable and that channel was all that was available... I got hooked. :-)

I asked for CD player for my birthday when I was a kid. My mom bought me one and because she knows nothing about music, she went to the record store and asked for a recommendation for a CD. The guy behind the counter said, "Here, you're kid will love this." When I opened the present, I was like, "Who the F is Nirvana?" So I returned it and got Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. About a month later Nirvana blew up on MTV and I knew I made a horrible mistake.
