I guess I'm in the minority who might see this. Full disclaimer my kids just got into marvel movies and after watching Infinity Wars, GoG and GoG2, Thor: Ragnarok, and Capt America I can say we are all hooked here.

To be honest, I don't think the extra footage is worth it, unless you're really just want to see the movie one more time on the big screen with other fans to experience the excitement.

I will go watch it 5 times if I thought it would help knock Avatar off the hill. Enjoyed the tech, but thought the story sucked. It bothers me to have a top movie with a story I thought sucked.

Seeing the re-release was my 5th and final time to see it in the theater. It only pulled 1.8M domestically yesterday. It needs 25M to beat Avatar. I don't think that's going to happen.

It's a pretty half-assed "rerelease." Either wait til it's out of theaters and bring it back for a limited time or add something other than weak BluRay features and a brief clip from a movie that is out in 2 days.

Even if it was just a compilation of behind the scenes clips from the actors Instagrams, at least it'd feel like an insightful treat or some kind of fan thank-you.

Agreed, it's a pretty weak sauce attempt to grab the record. There was no need for it. IMO they should have just waited until the next Avengers (whenever that is) and re-released it then. Make it a proper extended cut, and give people a chance to actually look forward to it.
