They aren't going to get within 25 mil and not get the record. They'll probably do a better re-release later this year with legit extra footage, or some kind of Oscar push. Marvel knows what they're doing.

Or Feige will just go buy 20 million worth of tickets himself. Not like it would dent his account anyway.

It made some money yesterday, now 26 million behind.

The extra footage was such weak sauce. There was such little effort put into the Mary Lou clip. The Stan Lee clip was meh; there should have been more about the man IMO, not just rehashing stuff we've already seen and clips of him with so and so.

The lead into the deleted scene made me feel like it would be more and like it would have enriched the story more.

We went today. The extras at the end felt like typical offerings on a Marvel BluRay, and ultimately were not worth the price of admission (admittedly, a matinee but still, I'd seen the movie 4 previous times). I still think the movie is fantastic and worth repeated viewings, though.
