I would have to go with the first Home Alone movie. Pesci and Stern had me laughing uncontrollably multiple times.

Off the top of my head, movies I vividly remember laughing hysterically at along with rest of the theater:

My Cousin Vinny
The Producers
Coming To America
Uncle Buck
Dumb and Dumber
Something About Mary

Airplane! or The Naked Gun, but probably Airplane!

Easy. I was 13 when The Naked Gun came out. Couldn't be a better age for that movie. I still remember laughing hysterically from start to finish in the theatre.

Animal House and Airplane! come to mind. I still laugh heartily watching John Belushi go through the cafeteria line, overloading his tray, shoving entire burgers down his throat, slurping down Jell-O, and taking bites out of food then returning that food to the shelf.

Right at the end of my junior year in high school, I went to the old Meyerland Theater and saw an advance preview showing of Gremlins. I laughed so hard and out loud during the barroom scene with critters flashing others, picking a snotty nose, sticking a finger in an electrical outlet ...

Dumb and dumber had to be amazing in theaters. I was only 9... But I do remember seeing it on the marquee as showing.

This. Saw a sneak preview while at A&M and I remember telling everyone I had to go see it again so I could catch what I missed because we laughed over so many jokes.

A lot of these movies make the cut for me.

However, one I haven't seen on this thread yet that my 11-12 year old self and friends that were laughing uncontrollably was Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail

I was too young to get the hair scene, but the dog flying out the window had me rolling.

Man, I recognize AF as a classic. But it was never one I LOLd at. Try watching Gremlins again now...it just doesn't hold up IMO. I found it pretty boring, but my 10 year old self loved it.

Happy Gilmore. Sandler's humor has worn thin, but this movie at 17 was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

The very first time I saw Wedding Crashers was probably the most/hardest I ever laughed at a movie.

I almost died the first time I saw the scene in Monty Python where the king of swamp castle orders the guards to keep his son from escaping.

Also the rest of the movie.

The Hangover, Superbad, and Dodgeball were the funniest, best in theatre experiences that I can remember for a comedy. All were so perfect for when they came out and landed great with the crowds.

I distinctively remember laughing so hard during Dumb and Dumber that I had trouble breathing. Easily the funniest thing I've ever seen in a theater.

Gremlins is just one of many movies that do not hold up. Was funny at the time.
