I thought the entire point of the flashback with Walt and her purchasing the house was to show that he actually was kind of a confident, aggressive guy. His "new" personality wasn't out of nowhere.

Yep. His youthful exuberance definitely foretold the outcome of the show. People often complain about how predictable the final 3/4 seasons were simply based on what that flash told us.

Anyone else in the middle of a rewatch? On season 2, ep. 5 of my first re-watch. So damn good, especially with the knowledge of how it ends. Still waiting for Saul Goodman to show up though.

I also decided to rewatch Breaking Bad because of this, only to season 2 episode 9.

Expectations for this will be very high - that's always tough. But I know the creative team involved will deliver a quality product.
