At least it led to the line "I put it in my redneck pocket".

They totally sandbagged the votes. Who voted the way they did and why is mystifying.

I'm going to have to go back and watch the early seasons.
My recollection was that there were WAY fewer back then.

In Hantz's first season, he would play an idol then go find another one because production crew hid it again.

James (big black guy from China) was voted out with 2 HIIs in his pocket.

Both seasons are 10 years old. Playing an idol then finding it again is not new nor is having multiple idols.

This whole season is meh, but it's like a bad train wreck and I just cant let myself stop watching survivor after all these years but I may be done after this season. The only one I kind of wouldn't mind winning is Elaine but its only because she's kind of funny but she is in the minority half of the current tribe so she will get picked off soon. All the bs at tribal just for them to vote Karishma was stupid, as someone on the jury even said "these are some stupid moves". Dean is an idiot, Nora is crazy, and the rest are just boring. Add that on to all the PC stuff earlier in the season and it just makes it unbearable to a watch anymore.

The idols are easier to find because they want them found. That being said, you only see the 3 mins search when in reality they have been out there looking for hours.

I agree that making them do a task is better TV and I wish they did that more often.

Looking forward to next season with a cast we know if strong and full of people ready to play.

I'd bet he wagged his Willie at a female staff.

I would love to see Janet make her way to final but it may come down to winning immunity and making fire, don't see them willingly letting her through next tribal by putting the nullified on her.

Lauren is dangerous in jury

Dean has some old tribe mates and if he plays nullifier correctly that could be rewarded
Tommy has been on the right side of most (or all) votes
Noura gets zero votes to win

With the Dan debacle this could be an entertaining and worthwhile finale.

Is Dan the first person forced to leave the game for behavior (i.e. not for medical reasons or quitting)?

If so, it looks that much worse for Missy and Elizabeth who all downplayed his behavior as part of the game.

According to an interview with Dalton Ross (my wife obsessively reads them), he is the first to be removed.

Not gonna defend the guy, but if there is any truth to this, it sounds like it could have been accidental but the history got him the boot.

My bet would be an inappropriate pat on the butt, like a pitching coach making a mound visit, just a playful "that a girl" that was both inappropriate and piled on top of previous issues. He became too comfortable with a staffer.
