Yeah, don't remember this thread, but when I saw stage four pancreatic cancer and "on the mend" in the same post, i knew that was likely hopeful at best. Having been through it with one or two people I care about, pancreatic cancer is awful, even by cancer standards. Stage 4 has a survival rate of 1 percent, and because many don't see the symptoms until too late, that is when many are diagnosed.
For comparison, colon cancer has a stage 4 survival rate of 14 percent, and probate cancer is 29 percent.
It's just an evil diagnosis.
