Give Fast Five credit for making the transition from street racing to heist films pretty flawlessly.

Fast 10 Parts 1-2:
Every single character from the franchise (including Hector and Johnny Tran's crews, the crews from 2F2F and Tokyo Drift, Hobbs, Shaw, John Cena, etc.) will team up against Charlize Theron and her minions.
Everyone meets up out in the desert where Race Wars is held. The good guys all gather up in their muscle cars, tricked out Hondas/Jettas, Hobbs' megatruck, Shaw in his supercar, etc.)
On the other side, a bunch of tanks are lined up, with Charlize controlling them all from her plane above.
Toretto: "For Brian."
The cars take off drag-race style. Toretto blasts his sound system. NOS tanks starts going.

I have not seen a single one of these yet.
waiting until the next?) one is out since that seems to be something of an ending point, so I have heard more offshoots
Hobbs & Shaw > all FF movies except F5 (which is legitimately a great movie).AgLaw said:C@LAg said:

I had never seen any of them, and then my sons and I saw the preview for Hobbs and Shaw where The Rock holds a helicopter in place with a chain. We all laughed out loud (literally) and decided we needed to see them all. We did. Do not regret. This is one of the dumbest and best action movie series ever created. Can't wait for the F9
hey, i'll buy anything if it brings Han backBrian Earl Spilner said:
That was one of the most awesomely absurd things ever and I loved every second of it.
Loved the tie-ins to the rest of the franchise, especially with the dad and the Tokyo Drift guys. Roman being hongry.
The Star Wars references were pretty funny. Roman and Tej were hilarious.
The action scenes were bonkers and made no sense.
If you can't have fun watching that, there's something wrong with you.
Loved the little tribute at the end for obvious reasons. (See my username.)
I will say the one thing I didn't buy was how Han was saved. We see him in the car and then he's magically standing next to Nobody. At least show him get pulled out of the car or something.
