Really a smaller film and I'm not sure how they even got him to do it but I loved him in.....

Man From Snowy River - played brothers the patriarch rancher dad (Harrison) and the outcast pegleg brother (Spur) that lived in the hills panning for gold.

It was an Aussie film full of Aussies except for him - and he had no hint of an accent.

Some interesting inside tidbits about the making of - his idea for the brothers and his ego and stature causing some issues but it worked out pretty well. Kind of ushered in the new wave of Aussie filmmaking.

Love Kirk Douglas. Like was said above, at 103 you don't grieve, you celebrate. He's the last of the Movie Stars who defined Hollywood and by all accounts was a good man. Married to the same woman for 65 years.

Olivia de Havilland is still among the living, she'll turn 104 on July 1st.
