Blur. They have put out some great songs but I can't
stand Song 2.
They had other songs?
They're actually a fantastic band - Damon Albarn is a genius. They have tons of great songs, but I also love Song 2 still.
I feel like this was especially true looking back at the times when you were more dependent on radio than we have become since .mp3s became a thing, when radio stations would just beat hit songs to death. Haven't heard it in the past 15 minutes? Well you're in luck because we're about to play it for the thousandth time today!Frok said:P.C. Principal said:
Wonderwall is one of the lamer more boring Oasis songs IMO. It's always perplexed me how it became their biggest hit. I think the rest of the What's the Story Morning Glory album and Definitely Maybe before it are better pretty much across the board.
Even the band doesn't care for this song.
I think what often happens is the hits get way overplayed so you grow tired of them.

I take issue with these 3. Those are great songs.Head Ninja In Charge said:
LMAOOOOO. Came in here specifically to do this. All these songs are trash:
"Love Will Tear Us Apart" - Joy Division
"How Soon is Now?" - The Smiths
"Where is my Mind? - Pixies
"Wake Up" - Arcade Fire
"Get Lucky" - Daft Punk
"If I Ruled the World" - Nas
"The Light" - Common
Honestly that is one of my favorite songs ever though.rhutton125 said:
I like "Somebody that I Used to Know" but Gotye has some great songs, and unfortunately this is the only one that anyone has heard.
It's overplayed. Same thing with Freebird...I tend to skip it.07ag said:

It doesn't really sound like them, Kenny Loggins could have done it just fine.Bruce Almighty said:
I don't think it's their signature song, but I Don't Want to Miss a Thing is Aerosmith's biggest hit. That song is awful.
I made a mix tapes of songs with good "na na nas." Sometimes that's the only thing that can put a smile on my face after a rough day.Solo Tetherball Champ said:I have a weakness in me for any song that tries to pass off meaningless sounds as lyrics:Texaggie7nine said:The little "rap" he does in that song is one of the worst violations of human ears I have ever heard.'03ag said:

What are their six #1 hits? Tried to Google it and I am getting some funky results. One Billboard link says a song called Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion) was a #1 hit as of 1/8/93 but I've never heard of that song before. And while they have multiple songs that were popular and maybe even charted higher but none is more associated with them than Sugar. I bet there are TONS of people that don't know any Def Lep other than that song. Probably tens of thousands of strippers alone.62strat said:Really? There is probably literally no one that only knows that song.
did you even go to college? every frat party i went to, bar i went to, house party i went to was playing pour some sugar on me. its basically the preppy equivalent of "sweet home alabama". that coyote ugly movie in 2001 made def leppard so much money off that one song62strat said:
