I prefer the Jimi version of both Little Wing and Voodoo Child. I also prefer the NIN version of Hurt over Johnny Cash.

Though they're the same song, I feel they're different enough to be stand alone songs. To me, the NIN version is dark and depressed where Cash's version seems to be an old man near the end reflecting on his past mistakes.

I prefer the Gary Jules version of Mad World over the original from Tears for Fears. It gets bonus points for being in Donnie Darko.

I understand the thought, but Bob did record the signature rock song of all time - Like A Rolling Stone. You don't have to have a pretty girl voice to belt out greatness. Bob has dozens of dozens of dozens of great songs that he sang, IMHO (I also have learned on TexAgs that Springsteen can't sing, so there is that.)
