The problem with Skyler is that she way overreacts early, when WW is really just freaking out about death and trying to figure out a quick way to leave his family with enough money to get by. We get anchored on first impressions. That's why it's hard to accept when Walter goes from doing bad things because he feels he has to, to doing bad things because his ego demands it. That's all tangled up with why we have a hard time forgiving Skyler for being b*tchy to Walter early. She was also under a lot of stress, and it wasn't terribly long before her complaints went from unfair to more perceptive than our own opinions of what was driving Walter.

My problem with Skyler started well before she found out about the drug dealing.

She seemed uninterested in Walt, she was bossy and uptight, and just not particularly a pleasant wife at any time. And she just got worse from there.
