And I'll push back on The Beach.
I can see where it was unexpected and different for Leo at the height of his Titanic popularity, but I like it.

I saw Proof of Life right after Russell Crowe did Gladiator and that movie was awful. Same for The Beach with DiCaprio
I didn't mind the beach other than it ruined Koh Phi Phi.Thunder18 said:Bruce Almighty said:

The Beach is one of those films that I will stop and watch any time it's on...I don't know why. Maybe I just love Danny Boyle films

I didnt think the Platform was bad. Just very artsy and a bit confusing. I kept watching because I was waiting for something. What I dont know I was just waiting...lol

Came here specifically to say this. Awful. Worse than awful.
That one was John Travolta and Christian Slater. I think you're probably thinking of The Rock, which was Cage's best movie by far.Quote:

Crap! You are right. OK. Face off, ConAir, Gone in 60 seconds - which ever was last, was probably last good Cage movie. The Rock was good too, but I think earlier.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:That one was John Travolta and Christian Slater.
