The second Hangover is probably the worst sequel of a great first movie that I've ever seen. It's sort of unbelievable that movie got made.

I'd rather watch Jaws 2 than the Hangover 2. The idea of another giant great white in the same waters seems more believable.

Yeah, Jaws 2 is fairly serviceable, actually. Still shouldn't have been made though.

I have twin daughters - one whom likes the more action-based and scary movies. Her sister was on a overnight getaway with Mom around Christmas time so I let the other one stay up late and watch the original Jaws with me, with frequent pauses explaining what was going on and that it was all fake.

When it was over (she was 7 at the time), she saw that Jaws 2 was up next and we had this conversation.


M: "Wait, there's a Jaws 2??"
D: "Yes, but it's terrible."
M: "Why is it terrible?"
D: "Another giant shark shows up in the same place and starts eating people and Chief Brody has to kill it."
M: "Does it eat a lot of people?"
D: "Yep, and it eats a helicopter."
M: "No it doesn't!"
D: "Yes it does, the helicopter lands on the water to save some kids and the shark eats the helicopter and the pilot."
M: "How does the guy with the glasses kill it?"
D: "He bangs on this big wire and tricks the shark into putting its head out of the water to bite it and it electrocutes the shark or something."
M: "Why would the shark bite a wire?"
D: "I don't know, something about banging sound attracts it or something, I really don't remember."
M: "Are you making this up?"

The shark did not eat the helicopter.

Post your phone number and I'll have my daughter call you so you can clear up that the shark actually attacked a pontoon, dragging the helicopter underwater and causing the pilot to die by drowning.

Per jaws 4, my brother has a saying that the higher up in the credits mario van peebles is, the worse the movie is.
