You fellas have mentioned some great female voices here. No doubt about it.

I'll keep mine country (or country-pop, I'm afraid) --

Patsy Cline had one helluva voice. Her version of Faded Love was said to be Bob Wills' favorite, and he wrote it.

Linda Ronstadt was a force. Man oh man, what a voice.

Here's one most here probably haven't even considered, probably because it's been almost 30 years since she and her group were charting county singles -- Kathie Baillie, of Baillie & the Boys.

I used to drive a lot, and when her voice came through the speakers it just brightened my mood, regardless of how my day had been going:

I'll add to the love train for Floor Jansen. Ghost Love Score by Nightwish is obviously fantastic. (Not originally sung by her, but definitely perfected.)

Saw Sharon den Adel in San Fran last year...the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

A lot of great examples here of fantastic female voices... and just about everyone is better than the OP, in my opinion. Her vocal tone is just not my thing. I prefer a female voice with more depth and sultriness, if that makes sense.

I have always thought that Pink would have made a great lead singer for a rock band. Her voice is perfect for it. I especially love that cover of Me and Bobby McGee and how she slows down then speeds up to cover the guitar player screwing up. What a pro. I always appreciated her voice/style of singing, though not a big fan of her music. I ran across her live cover of Bohemian Rhapsody one day on Palladia before MTV bought the channel and ruined it. Was blown away:

I don't have much more to add other than what has already been posted. I think you need to break it up by genre. I do believe Ann Wilson has the best female rock voice. So much power.

Ok, and not an amazing voice here, at all, but I remember when Katie Holmes sand "On My Own" when I was a kid, and falling in love with her after the song.

I went out and bought a lot of female vocalist CDs, like Shawn Colvin, Patsy Cline, Jewel, Fiona Apple, and I had a best of country women vocalist CD that was great. Was just a phase, but that was my music for a couple of years. None of them moved me like Katie did. When I finally saw Les Mis a few years later, I was actually a little disappointed, and thought the version with just the piano was better.

Hope Sandoval does it for me. Not the best singer, but she just has a sound that is enjoyable. Absolutely my favorite.

Morgan James has a pretty perfect singing voice.

Four pages deep and no one has mentioned the GOAT. Shame. The most recognizable and greatest solo female voice of all time. Grammy winner, singer song writer, VMA Video of the year winner, The legendary Ms. Britney Spears. We can shut this thread down now.

Suzanne Santo deserves consideration as well:

I wouldn't try to compare her to
many of the greats listed in this thread, but we recently discovered this young woman and WOW! Watch her sing this if you have a few min. Best comment on the video in YouTube: "This is what butterflies listen to after a long day."

Just because I really liked The Sundays' 1990 album "Reading, Writing and Arithmetic" and dug her unique voice, I'm going to throw Harriet Wheeler's name into the ring.

I liked their version of "Wild Horses" better than the Stones'.
