I wore out From Under The Cork Tree - Fall Out Boy in summer 2005.

Adding:
Underoath
All Time Low (early stuff)
Four Year Strong

Obviously not aware of Underoaths origins. They only fit this scene when 4 of the 5 band members left and were replaced with emo kids.

Look up the songs from their first two EP's

Why even join in on a conversation that is clearly going to be about these kinds of bands if this is what you have to say?

You should re-read this sentence again, as if someone else wrote it. Then reconsider ever writing something like that again.

When my wife and I first met some 15 years ago, I was in more of a hardcore phase listening to stuff like Every Time I Die, The Bled, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster...you know, real classic stuff. Anyway, I was trying to show her that I had a softer side and listened to all sorts of music, as she was into more boy band/pop music, so I made her a mixed tape.

She lost it years ago and I could never remember what I put on there. Well, she was cleaning out her car yesterday and found "the wet panty mix" in between the seat. The "secret track" is Beautiful by Flickerstick. Don't mind the horrible handwriting or any misspelled words.

If I had to pick one song to represent ALL these bands, it would be "All The Small Things" by Blink 182.

Does that sound right?

Shocked The Killers haven't been mentioned. They have a new album coming out next month and the singles have been pretty great (Caution and My Own Souls Warning)

But their first two albums are near perfect to me. Might prefer Sam's Town over Hot Fuss, but both are two of my favorite albums of all time.

Looking back, I probably would have made some edits, but still a pretty strong list of softer emo songs. It got the wife going again

My girlfriend in HS absolutely loved this junk and over time I grew a soft spot for it. Won't listen to it or anything but it does take me back.

She was too cool to like anyone that was popular so my memory is fuzzy. Also y'all mentioned most of them.

Three of the members of Cruiserweight were a set of siblings from my hometown. Biased but I enjoyed most of the stuff I heard from them.
