I was thinking about rewatching it with my son, now that he's getting older. Might have to revisit it just to see his reactions.
Something that I always loved about Lost was the music. It was the first TV show that I clearly remember being so moved by the score. Michael Giachinno killed it. I'll play a few notes from Life and Death on the piano and my wife just smiles.
I have to agree with you 100%. Michael Giachinno's score for LOST is fantastic and it worked perfect for the story lines of each episode. I would like to point out though that it's not the easiest score to listen to on Apple music (or the like). Take for example Life and Death - a perfectly peaceful piece of music, with such emotion. I absolutely love the song. However, then all of a sudden at the end of the piece it starts to creep out a bit and then
BAM - the LOST horns start blasting. It irritates the sh*t out of me when listening while I'm working. The horns are so much apart of LOST and I'm cool with them in the music when watching the shows. I love the soundtrack so much that I had to make a playlist of all my favorite songs that have little to no horns blaring at the end of the song.
Here are a few of the good (low horn blaring) ones: Locke'd Out Again; Parting Words; The Gathering; Rose and Bernard; Ocean's Apart; Shambala; There's No Place Like Home; Landing Party; La Fleur; Lax; Ji Yeon.
