Damn we got this far without Sunshine.
1) Sunshine (Adagio in D Minor)
2) Capa Meets the Sun
3) Mercury

I don't think we're counting music that isn't original score.DubFalls said:
I'm surprised not to see this one on here yet, though the 3rd track isn't one I'd listen to outside of the movie:
2001: A Space Odyssey
1) Also sprach Zathrusta
2) The Blue Danube
3) Requiem for Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, 2 Mixed Choirs and Orchestra

Came here to post Man of Steel, but should have known my man TCTTS would already be on it. One of the most slept on movies, IMO.

Dances with Wolves
1. John Dunbar Theme
2. Journey to Fort Sedgewick
3. The Love Theme
And second the Braveheart nod, but For Love of the Princess is the best track.
Like Fantasia, 2001 would be DQ'ed because the score is not original.DubFalls said:

Never seen the movie, but I have the main theme in the digital library of every device. One of John Barry's best song scoresLaw-5L said:
Pardon me if I missed these on a previous post:

The movie is definitely worth a view as well. The score serves the film beautifully.tk for tu juan said:Never seen the movie, but I have the main theme in the digital library of every device. One of John Barry's best song scoresLaw-5L said:

Nominations close a week from today. Thanks for your contributions. I'll make the tournament as large as needed so fire away.
Come on, Darth Vader in Star Wars choked out a dude and was menacing as hell to 10-year-old me with that all black look and that voice.MuckRaker96 said:Jack Sparrow on the tiny boat is an all-time great character intro ... and now I want to do a bracket of great character intros.Brian Earl Spilner said:

just an unfriendly reminder, if you nominated a movie and didn't list 3 tracks for it, it isn't making the cut.
I noticed that Inception is available on Amazon Prime. I typically watch something on AP while I'm doing my time on the treadmill, so that one was next up this afternoon. (40 minutes on the treadmill, so I have a couple days to actually finish the rewatch). I'd only seen the movie once when it came out theatrically, and had very little recollection of any of it. That score is criminally underrated (by me), and will soon be in my possession.Rex Racer said:
Any movie scored by John Williams or Hans Zimmer.
Seriously, take your pick.
I feel like I could add a whole lot more to this thread, as movie scores have been the vast majority of my listening via records, cassettes, CDs, and now streaming since my dad brought home the double LP of the original Star Wars score.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Good call on Rogue One and Endgame. Totally forgot about those.
