I have a hard time separating the music from the album cover, but if I were to try to just focus on iconic album covers these seven are the ones that popped into my head (in no particular order):

Who's Next might be better than Odds & Sods.....

May need to re-evaluate.

But I feel strongly It's Only Rock n' Roll is underrated both musically and as an album cover. I really like it. Black and Blue from '75 also contains some really underrated material, including the really dirty Hand of Fate, and most of the lead guitarist work was hired hands, as Wood was transitioning in. And the cover is hilarious.

Best Springsteen cover art is Western Stars. Born to Run is good, but overall his covers have been bad. The River aesthetic is good, however (I could have made that album truly great by re-arranging cuts, assuming access to Tracks material).

Scoop series and Empty Glass are definitely honorable mention, although I'm guessing Townsend being so temperamental contributed to the quite uneven quality of his solo material cover art.

By the way... you all know the London Calling cover is a ripoff... or tribute. Right?

I mean it is great I agree. but most don't know the origin of it. Even though it is better than the original.

Live 75 - 85 is both good and very disappointing in two respects:

- bad bad bad selection, by comparison to (high-quality) bootleg releases that could have been included
- way too much focus on 80s instead of 70s
