Just rewatched this. I think this is probably the only real failing of this movie. The soundtrack didn't fit. It would have been better with no music at all.

That sorcerous trick where the music sounds like its rising and rising works once, maybe twice in a film. It felt like that's all the soundtrack was. It's supposed to deliver tension, but when it's so in your face it's... I don't know, patronizing? I had to use the mute button generously to finish the movie.

I thought it was good but lost a lot of momentum as it went on. The crash/pilot scene was pretty much nonsense.
