The original Battlestar Galactica was cancelled after 1 season because it was so expensive. Then a write in campaign brought a horribly cheesy rehash called "Battlestar Galactica 1980" with a whole new cast except Lorne Green.

I loved this show as a kid, far superior to "Bring 'em Back Alive" which debuted about the same time & also set in the 1930's in the Far East/Pacific. It ended after one season as well.

I thought that Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles (lasted 2 seasons) was finding its groove when it ended.
Love Monkey absolutely had legs and would have been a streaming property darling had it come out 10 years later.
Police Squad has been mentioned and was amazing.

This show was great. I later found out what a total scumbag the star of the show, Tom Sizemore, was/is, and that the show was canceled mostly because he was arrested. Not sure what he was arrested for, but it was probably a combination of drugs and assault. He's not a nice guy.

Came here to specifically see if anyone mentioned The Grinder and glad to see several have. Great cast, original story and Rob Lowe was hysterical.

I like the Terminator show too, really wanted to see more of Summer Glau as John Conners personal sex robot.
