When I was in college I had saved money and ordered a PRS Tremonti model in platinum (shocking I know). I missed the delivery and talked the UPS customer service lady into getting the driver to leave his lunch and come back to my house to deliver it. I can be very persuasive when properly motivated.

I was home when my PRS Angelus Lifeson model arrived. It was July and I didn't want an acoustic sitting outside, not just because of the porch pirate risk.

I did the upgrade since I had a spark 40 amp already. Also, I chose the white one because it would get here the quickest. I think I ordered it like a month ago, maybe 3 weeks.

I do. Only problem I have with it is the speaker cutting out so I have to pipe it through another amp. Not a huge deal, since I almost always play with headphones on. But sometimes on the rare occasion I'm home alone, I want to turn it up and play.
Cool update on this story....I went home and dug through all my stuff trying to find the wireless unit so I could get the serial number. Couldn't find it at all. Then I remembered I had tossed it in the trash out of frustration that I couldn't find the invoice, and I just thought I was SOL. I emailed the SALES ENGINEEER back and told him what happened, and thanked him for his time in trying to help me. UPS came with two other packages. My guitar still hasn't been scanned again since getting to Houston yesterday morning. Still says it's being delivered today but I'm going to guess that's not happening. Really annoying because I worked from home so I could be here and I have things to do tomorrow and then we're leaving in the afternoon to go to CS for the game. Won't be back until Sunday. UPS used to be the hands down best, but I've had issues with them the last few years.
I have shipped high end bourbon all over the country via UPS and never had a problem.
However, my buddy sent me a Taylor Swift Eras t shirt to me from Houston and it got lost! (Shirt was from the Poland concert too)
They sent me a check really quickly to offset the costs of the merchandise but the emotional damage is already done.

Welp, just opened a UPS investigation. Contacted them, they called the hub, and it's nowhere to be found.
Travelling to Dallas to visit family for the labor day weekend, and I always bring a guitar and my little Fender champ so I have something to play around on. But of course, I left my Fender Champ at home.
Now i'm struggling with whether I should just go up to Guitar Center and buy a little dinky amp to play on while i'm here. It's hard for me to go more than 2 days without playing guitar.

Yeah, they asked what the value was. I'd imagine that was a "is it worth our time to look for it or do we just pay now" deal.
I have the Fender Mustang Micro that I really like, definitely does the job but it's pricier than the VOX.

I bought a similar device and I really like it. It's super limited as far as sounds, but it's small and you don't need an amp or much space. Just wired headphones. I use it when I am asked to "spend family time" during my few non working hours, and I just put headphones on and play (also to my wife's chagrin, but why would I really want to watch Descendants movies? Lol).

Played guitar for many years but kinda drifted away from it with work, kids, etc. Now that we're empty-nesters, I'm getting back into it. Got an Epi Les Paul Studio last year and just picked up a Marshall DSL20 (little booger is heavy). I've got an old Boss SD-1 and a Tube Screamer knock-off, and I can get some really nice sounds. Looking at loopers - anybody tried the Vox Lil Looper?
