The climb in Free Solo
Probably not in the spirit of the thread (good thread btw) since it's a doc. But I have never sweated or been that anxious in a theater... and I knew he made it!
Yep.
Gave me palpitations and an anxiety attack - couldn't sleep for hours after.
Also
Man on Wire another documentary about the high wire French guy that walked between the twin towers back in the 70s. Great movie. I also knew he made it. Didn't matter I was on pins and needles the entire time. The hollywood version did not bug me half as much.
And no I am not afraid of heights.... I'm afraid of falling from heights. lol. but I just need something solid under my feet. I've gone up the Eiffel Tower and Empire State Building no problem.
I've been to several places with suspended bridges. I can handle those ok... but a glass walkway or glass observation point like they do some places that sticks out over a gorge or whatever. Nope. Can't even step onto it. My body completely locks up.
