Anyone else watching the new season?
Focuses on East LA College basketball team.
Plenty of players to root for in this one.

Blinn is apparently too stable for this show.Head Ninja In Charge said:
I haven't watched any of these series, but is Blinn - Brenham ever brought up? We always knew that to be the first/last stop if someone was trying to make D1. Plenty of guys I went to high school with had to take that route because of grades and...other problems. This is for football and basketball.
When they all do their impersonations of Mosley, I was dying.SWC Ag said:
I'm a HUGE football guy, but this was easily the best season of LCU. Easy to root for the kids and coaches. I really, really like these guys.
Also, one of the most unintentionally funny couple of minutes of TV I've seen in a LONG, LONG time was when the team heads up to the mountains for a retreat and some of the guys take a hike in the woods. Holy **** that was comedy gold.
I agree, minus Joe. Damn, that dude's a whiny, entitled *****. Somewhat redeemed himself the final episode, but no way I'd want that guy on my team.Buzzy said:
Finished it Saturday.
It is by far their best season yet. The fact that you can legit cheer for everyone in this show makes it so much more enjoyable to watch.
Joe was super self destructive, but it was clear to me those were defensive mechanisms to keep from being let down again. Dude seems like a good guy who just needs guidance. There's a reason the entire team loved Joe.AustinAg2012 said:I agree, minus Joe. Damn, that dude's a whiny, entitled *****. Good watch overall. I've enjoyed almost every season.

When you consider all that he does every day, his energy level is off the charts.

No joke. I was telling my wife about this. There's no way I could do what he does in a day. Honestly, I was surprised in the last episode when he got "fat". Would've thought he had the energy/stamina to keep going.

All of the coaches seem to be there for the right reason - teach and coach basketball and mentor these kids. I can see Coach Mosley getting a D2 offer and Coach Rob getting a head coaching gig out of this if there is a chance to continue to mentor. Coach Ken is awesome and an inspiration. Such a nice change from the Last Chance U football coaches.
