FM was a terrible movie, but the soundtrack is maybe the best ever.

Side One

"FM (No Static at All)" - Steely Dan
"Night Moves" - Bob Seger
"Fly Like an Eagle" - Steve Miller Band
"Cold as Ice" - Foreigner
"Breakdown" - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

Side Two
"Life in the Fast Lane" - Eagles
"Do It Again" - Steely Dan
"Lido Shuffle" - Boz Scaggs
"More Than a Feeling" - Boston

Side Three

"Tumbling Dice" - Linda Ronstadt
"Poor, Poor Pitiful Me" - Linda Ronstadt
"Livingston Saturday Night" - Jimmy Buffett
"Just the Way You Are" - Billy Joel

Side Four

It Keeps You Runnin' - The Doobie Brothers
"Your Smiling Face" - James Taylor
"Life's Been Good" - Joe Walsh
"We Will Rock You" - Queen
"FM - Reprise" - Steely Dan

That movie is bad. The soundtrack is good.

It's campy and not Star Wars quality. I think the movie was good for what it was.

It wasn't as great as the soundtrack but it was a good movie.

The songs they created for that movie had no business being that good

Crow: City of Angels was the first thing that popped in my head but then couldn't remember any song from soundtrack. Had to look it up and most of the songs and artists feel expected. That being said the Paper Dress might be my favorite Toadies song.

As already posted, for my money it was Godzilla '98 (GINO-Godzilla In Name Only). Great soundtrack for 90's alt rock. Terrible movie.

Fine.

Post a pic of Jennifer Tilley from that movie to show we are on the same page.

Coneheads- only because for too long, it was the only place to purchase Soul to Squeeze

The first soundtrack for the X-Games. I went thru many copies of it pre-mp3.

Oh, how could I forget the horrible movie with DeNiro, Ethan Hawke and Paltrow, Great Expectations?
It was pure dookie, but the soundtrack had the Chris Cornell song Sunshower.

Cool World and Last Action Hero both spoken for but I agree 100%. Awesome soundtracks.

Q's Real World on LAH is great too.

Back in the 90's Immortal Records did the following three soundtracks and each soundtrack was a collaboration of two different genres (between Rap, EDM, and Metal).

I'm not going to lie not all the songs hit but it was a cool idea, you had collaborations between: Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill, Slayer and Ice T, Korn and the Dust Brothers, Filter and the Crystal Method, Eve and Fatboy Slim, Ice Cube and Paul Oakenfold.

Judgement Night - Metal/Hard Rock and Rap
Spawn - Metal/Hard Rock and EDM
Blade II - Rap and EDM

The Judgement Night Soundtrack was the first of the set and has a sort of cult following, Rolling Stone recently did a oral history about its production.

First off, Eddie and the Cruisers is an excellent movie, only outshadowed by Eddie and the Cruisers 2: Eddie Lives!

Yeah this board loves the Crow, but I thought it was cheesy. The soundtrack, however: every teenager in 94 had the CD and it still holds up.

I saw John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band a few years ago doing one of those radio gimme shows opening for the Edgar Winter Group and Eddie Money...they played like 3 songs, Edgar Winter and maybe some of his other bandmates sat in on the 2nd song and they ripped into like a 10 minute jam of "On the Dark Side" and it kicked so much ass. 10/10, would go see any night of the week.
