As a Padres season ticket holder in the early 2000s, the intro of this song playing as Trevor Hoffman walked out of the bullpen to the mound was pretty cool....

Man, as a lifelong metalhead I haven't even heard of the majority of the suggestions so far.

Without getting obscure with my favorites here is a popular one that I adore. One of the major reasons why I picked up drum sticks was this intro.

This thread reminded me of a vid I saw this on youtube a few weeks ago. Fans of Van Halen should get a kick out of this.

Eddie's guitar track "Spanish Fly" begins with him groaning/grunting. If you listen with headphones and turn the volume up it sounds like he is mumbling, "Here we go" or something like that. Anyway, I've heard a lot of covers of this, but this is the first one with the groan included. It's Paul Gilbert of RacerX and Mr. Big. I got a good laugh out of it because of his emphasis of it.

The RC Slocum show also used it for a highlight reel back in the early 90's.
