I love this movie, and the main cast is pretty great. Heath Ledger, Mark Addy, Alan Tudyk, and Paul Bettany.

I didn't realize it had a 59% rotten score on RT.

What do y'all think about the movie? Currently watching it right now because my wife has never seen it.

Wow this makes me feel old. I remember seeing it in the theater my junior year of high school.

First time I discovered Paul Bettany. He killed it as Geoffrey Chaucer.

Never could get through the entire movie. Just didn't find it interesting. It did have actors who I really like in other roles though.

It's alright. My wife made me watch it recently. The love interest kinda sucks IIRC and Alan Tudyk didn't really do it for me. Paul Bettany is great though.

On the plus side, for about 3 weeks I could interrupt my wife at any time and quote the love interest by saying "I want poetry. And I want it now." and force her into impromptu poetry.

Love this one.

On paper, it shouldn't work: Medieval Setting, modern music, 90s snark, etc. But somehow it does.

Agreed the blacksmith chick is 1, handmaiden 2, and main chick is definitely 3.

That's a movie where she is actively in 2 face mode. I find her to be the perfect example of Seinfeld's Two Face episode.
