Really liked it, especially all the humor in it. Could have used more Taskmaster, but not a big complaint.

David Harbour was great, and yeah, Florence Pugh stole the show and will be one of the big stars of the next Marvel phase.

Also, did Taskmaster do a quick move that was stolen from Wolverine, or am I dreaming? Hopefully someone else caught it, too. I'm thinking that's one of many soon-to-be subtle introductions of the Xmen into the MCU.

Felt more like Black Panther than Wolverine. Taskmaster was my biggest complaint. Shouldn't have been a walking terminator that is ultimately unbrainwashed at the end. Comic version is better.

Florence Pugh was great. She'll easily fill in for ScarJo moving forward.

Yeah, you guys are right, likely Black Panther. Didn't think of him.

Solid 8/10 MCU movie, felt much more like a phase 1 movie with way lower stakes. Florence Pugh was by far the best part of the movie, can't wait to see more of her in Hawkeye/Thunderbolts /Dark Avengers.

Wasn't my favorite marvel movie. Felt similar to wandavision and the falcon series, just very low stakes. Villain was one of the weakest out of all the MCU movies. And the post credit scene is just to keep people subscribed to Disney plus

Absolutely loved it, even though I couldn't understand a word.

This was a wildly entertaining movie.

Couple of observations:

- David Harbour is soooooooo good in this.
- While I loved every scene Taskmaster was in, when it was over I was disappointed in just how much we actually got of the character.
- I think we have just witnessed the introduction of a superstar in Florence Pugh. This was a glorious introduction to a wide audience for this actress. She was phenomenal and Marvel would be wise to lock her down for future movies/Disney+ series.

- My biggest gripe: I was HUGELY disappointed by the trailers I got for this movie. Space Jam looks goddawful. Sing 2? Escape Room 2? Snake Eyes looks so iffy to me (I read the GI Joe comics in the 80's and am quite familiar with his origin story.......this ain't it). With the exception of Sing 2, all these movies open in the next three weeks, so we're already getting TV spots for all of these. The only interesting thing was the long-delayed The King's Man had a slightly different trailer that looked pretty good.

No Eternals, no Shang-Chi......wtf???

I had shang chi, suicide squad, snake eyes, and some others.

I was not impressed with Melina's Russian accent. The close up scenes falling from the sky were meh. I enjoyed the rest of the film!

Not gonna lie, I loved the first escape room, and looking forward to the second.

Interestingly Feige has said they no longer are locking actors down anymore and are hoping to find actors who want to be there than be locked into a 10 movie deal. It's a bold strategy, so we will see how it works for them.

The trailers before my showing were Shang Chi, Venom 2, Eternals, Free Guy, and Suicide Squad.

Who is the lady at the end. Saw her at end of falcon winter soldier but don't remember the discussion.

Contessa Valentina. Worked for Shield in the comics. I don't think we know who she works for yet, but she seems to be building some sort of team. Maybe the Thunderbolts? She's got fake Capt. America presumably. Now Yelena. Maybe if that really is Abomination in the Shang Chi trailer she gets him.

Yeah semi-sorta. I'd like to see Yelena take Natasha's place as an Avenger after D+ Hawkeye series though.

Also I'd love for the Red Guardian to meet Sam as Captain America and not miss a beat. He only sees the costume rather than the man beneath it so doesn't even care that it's not Steve Rogers

I think she will be an antagonist for a bit in that series and will see the light when she actually talks to Kate and Clint

Because her character is not all about "looking good" like a typical superhero with typical poses.
